History says Netherlands deserves it more, but a little bit of me kinda wants Spain to win. I'm sure ill be back a forward on this one. Hoping for a great game from 2 sides that havent ever won it all

Dutch defense hasn't really impressed me entire tournament, i have a feeling Spanish attack will carve them apart. 3-1 Spain.

Yea this is the same reason why I believe Spain will win. Sneijder and Robben might have something else to say about it though. Should be a good match, with two of the best midfields of the tournaments, but it could also be a snoozer

Funny neither team in the finals impressed me once.

This will be an interesting game. Two teams who combine technical prowess with a "win dirty if necessary" mentality. My money is on Spain, I favor them 51-49.

This Finals will be a snoozer I think. I dont care who wins, I just want to see some good goals. Maybe Van Bommel will spice this game up by breaking Iniesta's foot or something and causing an all out bench clearing brawl on the field. Here is to hoping.

Same here. The Dutch havent dominated since group stage and got quite lucky to boot and the Spanish have squeaked by with one goal for God knows how many games now. I feel like I am watching Italy squeak into a Cup victory all over again.

How can you be so arrogant? It's the first time Spain reaches the final and you keep talking trash like there's no tomorrow. It won't be an easy game since Spain hasn't won easily in the previous 6 games they've played. If I were you I'd respect Netherlands because you never know what could happen.

And FYI, I'm Spanish too and hope we win but it won't be an easy game, that's for sure.

I like and respect both teams, so i really don't know who to root for.
I hope this match will be very exciting and be a close game throughout the entire time.

Van Bommel, Heitinga, Gio, Robben, etc ... please ... it will be a unbalanced game ... the most easy game of Spain in this championship ... in fact, I will go to the beach sunday afternoon and after this, I will look for a good (and empty) restaurant for a good calm dinner looking how Casillas gets the Cup.

It isn't arrogancy, it's only common sense and realism ... and a little bit of soccer's knowledges, of course.

It's arrogance. You're undestimating your opponent, plain and simple. Just hope the players aren't and they work hard for the win.

Netherlands has very talented players, Sneijder has been playing out of his mind, Robben can expose Capdevila with his speed, Kuyt's constant movement makes it difficult for the defense to track him and Van Persie is very dangerous no matter how badly he's been playing. I think Sneijder, Robben and Van der Vaart to some extent will play with a chip on their shoulder for underachiving in R. Madrid and the way they've been treated there.

Van Persey maybe he is a star in Netherland, but he is only a role player in Arsenal. The truly star is Cesc, who is warming our bench all the championship.

Arrogancy? ... Is arrogant to say Gasol+Kobe+Fisher would win M'Benga+Vujajic+Farmar?

Forget it, dude, it will be a easy game for Spain. I'm absolutely dissapointed with our rival's level in the final. I was waiting a stronger team. I was not waiting 80 years for this.

Those liga discards reached and led their teams to the Champions league final where as the Spanish teams did not. Maybe a preview of what is to come?
