I think it'll be Russia and Australia that get the nod. Both are well-established countries that are willing to throw money around to grow the game.

Qatar is just too blistering hot and it's just not big enough to handle such an event, IMO.

For once, I hope the US win something. I'd go if it was in the states. If it was in Belgium/Netherlands I'd try to go as well.

Hopefully by 2022, the US get the sport of soccer the respect that it deserves.

It seems like every year, the US gain fans towards the game of soccer. I was relatively impressed how enthusiastic the fans were in this year's WC. They are genuinely interested in the game. And not too mention there were ALOT of them everywhere I was. I hope this pattern keeps going through the years.

No way does Russia get it - last WC in western europe was 2006, there's no way they wait more than 12 years for another one.

Australia was shown by a recent FIFA report to be a financially poor option. Could see it go to the US personally, but would love it in my native Australia.

The race for 2018 is pretty wide open and I wouldn't mind any one of them get this. Not sure about Russia though after all the racist taunting at the African players.

I hope 2022 goes to Australia and why the f is Japan and S Korea in the race when they got one recently in 2002 and it wasn't memorable either.

I would say Russia and Qatar.

Russia because the FIFA likes to try different things and Qatar because they'll just build hypermodern stadiums nobody can compete with - that will be unused after the world cup :D

Except for the blatant cheating. That was pretty memorable, at least for me.

US has to to get the WC in 2022. We would make a hell alot more revenue but yet, Fifa doesn't care about that.

USA hosted the Cup back in 1994. Give it to England and Australia. Australia has a proven track record of running successful sporting events.

Australia probably won't get it as they didn't put enough money in the brown paper bags.

I wouldn't mind Australia, except the timezones would suck for us American fans of the sport. Anybody but Qatar is good.
