2014 FIFA World Cup Qualification

The group winners will qualify directly for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Among the nine group runners-up, the eight best runners-up (determined by records against the first-, third-, fourth- and fifth-placed teams only for balance between different groups) will advance to the play-offs, where they will be drawn into four home-and-away ties to determine the other four qualifiers.

Easy group for Holland. Turkey should come in second, but because they are my team and every team in any sport I follow always screws up, they will disappoint me. Hope Im wrong though....

Why do you think Netherlands will finish ahead of Holland? I think Holland has just as big a chance to win the group. They are two very evenly matched sides.

We'll probably progress as 2nd. I'm guessing the inevitable screw up(that we always manage in qualifiers) will be against Hungary.

Another draw for Turkey lol. We need a miracle to qualify, and this is really the best scenario you can imagine for the Turks. We don't want to have it easy.

Romania : 0 - 2 : Turkey...
Terim simply schooled Piturca... He sliced the compact Romanian team to 3 pieces with his 4-4-2... 2 forwards pressed on rival half of the field and seperated Romanian defense and midfield. 2 central midfielders pressed at midfield and seperated Romanian midfielders and forwards... Turkey used wings to attack, so we were able to attack without dealing with crowded Romanian midfield... and we were able to use our technically gifted wing players Arda, Gökhan x 2 and Caner efficiently. Fantastic coaching overall...
I know that we need a miracle... But Terim and this Turkey team deserves that miracle...

Netherlands should get a win against Hungary and lose to Turkey, so Turkey can qualify for play-offs...
