You won the league not that long ago. You've had your time. Now let someone else have the experience. It's only fair.

What a f'ing performance! One of the best i can recall in my ~15 years (24 yo) as a Liverpool supporter. Barca game is hard to replace and ofc the famous night in Istanbul in 2005, as one of my first memories of Liverpool. Just total domination - offensively and defensively. Could've scored 8, Leicester haven't had any chances.

We are massive favorites for the title - but still a long way to go. City looked like the team we knew for the last two seasons vs Arsenal and Leicester, i still fear them. One game at a time.

Man city are a great team but you are the world and european champions. It's possible Man city will not drop any points for the rest of the season. It's impossible that you will drop over 10 points. The title is yours. Congratulations.

Another City loss. 14 points with a game in hand.

Man City's defense is horrendous. There is no way in hell they are going to make up 17 points on Liverpool.

Well well well...

So I live up in the mountains north of Los Angeles, and we just got dumped with snow, and Thurs morning I (whole area) had the power go out. Still out 4 days later, and I came down to LA for work, and I'm finally getting caught up on all my sports stuff. It looks like things went pretty well! It's always hard to get any real feel for a game watching highlights, but I need to go see what I can find on the Leicester game. Seems like Man $ity lost a game in there as well.

Today's game seemed like a nail-biter, and there's once again VAR controversy...I'll have to look at that too.

1000% agree. I remember some 6-7 years ago watching Stevie-G crying after that massive win against Chelsea with 2-3 games left in the season. Of course I'm yelling at the screen..."why the hell are you crying?!?! You haven't won yet!!"

Sure enough. It's why runners are told to imagine the finish line being 15 feet further away. You can't think you've won...when you haven't.

We are exactly half-way. 19 games to go. An eternity. One big injury, and the whole thing changes. So no let up. Keep grabbing 3-points no matter how ugly until, until there are no points left. If we drop a couple games....just watch Man-$ity suddenly find their magic form. We got nothin yet.

Wow....just watched the plays on YouTube, and that minute SLIVER of a foot is pretty harsh for Wolves. I hate to see the game coming down to this. Reminds me of the Dallas / Greenbay game a few years ago, where Dez's finger touched the out-of-bounds. I absolutely hate seeing all 'art' of the game lost.

That said....one commenter on there had a really good point: both VAR calls were correct (no matter how "technically") and if the original calls had stood....1-0 to the Wolves. Is that better?

Boo on the refs for the first call. That was such a nice play by Adam, and it clearly was off his shoulder / chest. That shoulda been a 2-second glance by VAR. On the offsides....I just don't know where we go with this. You can't make this subjective...like 'there has to be daylight' or something. You can't have refs deciding this was 'too offsides'. It'll turn into the NFL, and the way they have completely botched the "what is a catch" rule. It's a disaster. And so would anything but offsides, as it's now interpreted. I hate it....but it's really the only way you can go about things moving forward with VAR.

Personally, I hope they get rid of it. But those comments on youtube are well taken. This game, and those all-too-important points would have swung the other way...and both calls would have been technically wrong. So how's that a better game?

Its a mess.

Starting in January. I think he's eligible next game. But I'm not entirely sure of the rules. I think there's a good chance he debuts in the FA Cup match against Everton on the 5th.

Happy New Years all. Have fun, but make it hope in one piece!

You don't want to miss the boys hoist Big-Ears finally, do you? Seems like we have a really good chance this year.
