I think aggerrard makes some great points, but I am not there yet with Firmino. I thought the guy was a huge part of our success.

I will admit....our offense didn't seem so potent last season. Our defense was what won the title IMO (the offense was good too, don't get me wrong). My 2-cents worth, is that I feel Salah has gotten a little selfish. It's killed that true "team chemistry" up front. I don't know.....that's just my take.

Yeah, same. I would totally sell Salah before Bobby. He's the linchpin for us.

Yeah...they wanted 30...and we held out, and got him for 20. Penny-wise.

It's a payment of $20m over 4 years. So they are only paying Bayern $5m this season. It's an absolute heist.

Liverpool making moves that can keep them the title.

Personally I'd have liked Sarr on the Leicester wing this season. I'll have to hope that Cengiz Under is even better.

For me Salah is our best and most impactful striker - i'd take him over Mané and Firmino tbh.

I agree with Firmino still being a valuable asset - and he has been a big part of the succes and the whole journey with Klopp. But i don't see the same impact from him anymore, and though he has never been a big goalscorer, i think his effectiveness in dangerous situations has gotten worse last season and most of the chances runs out with him. He is still good at almost everything else, but when he has to create a goalscoring chance or score himself it just doesn't happen for him.

I'm not necessarily saying we should move on from him, but at least bring in some competent competition as i don't think his performances on the pitch should garant a safe spot in the starting lineup. :)

Great performance tonight. Dominated Chelsea both 11 v 11 and 11 v 10. Thiago controlled the 2nd half.

I thought that neither team looked very good in the first half. Liverpool dominated the possession but didn't really create anything of worth. The red card killed the game and Liverpool were never going to lose after that. Still thought they could have done better. It's strange how people see matches differently because I thought Thiago looked poor. He was well off the pace which is easy to understand being as he can't have even trained with his teammates. It'll take a few games for him to get up to speed.

Mané was outstanding though. He works so hard.

And that's the bottom line. You also deprived a title challenger from getting any points.

Title challenger? Who? Chelsea is miles off from City, Liverpool. They are 33 points worse than those teams. Chelsea belong in the race for 4th place with Man utd,Leicester, Tottenham. You might as well say Leicester is title challenger.

Plus Lampard is unproven like Solskjaer, can he create good defence enough to chase top two teams?
