Player of the season if it weren't for Thiago Silva

Interesting if true. He hasn't been able to stay healthy and knows Bundesliga well.

Cant imagine that Bayern will let Coman leave and even if he does signing Pulisic as a replacement seems even more unlikely.

They would go for someone like Wirtz or Nkunku.

Solid result in Bucharest for the first leg against Atléti. Thought we totally outclassed them in the second half. Needed some brilliance from Giroud, but I'll take it.

Mount showed Felix levels in their first meetup :naaa:

Loved the Havertz cameo also, let him run the second leg with Mount being suspended.

Blues owner Roman Abramovich will give Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel £260m to spend in the next transfer window, regardless of whether the club qualifies for the Champions League. (Tutto Mercato, via Star)

Should make Stormi happy.

Well, it's not Tuchel who's going to get to pick the players, so it doesn't change anything.

That's such a ridiculous sum of money... And we'll still get less quality than you guys will for a fraction of the cost :nonono:

I'm hoping to see a lot of sales personally. A lot of fat to be trimmed... There's no reason your champions league bench should be carrying: Kante, Havertz, Pulisic, Ziyech, Chilwell, Abraham, James, Zouma, Gilmour and excluding Thiago Silva for injury concerns... An absurd amount of quality that needs to be ironed out and given a definite role amongst the team so a cohesive idea can be formed and we can see progress.

The ST thing screams Håland (pipedream) or Lukaku who I would be over the moon for. Love those physical, fast and aggressive types

Indeed, Chelsea showed an excellent result yesterday in the match against Atlético. I hope they will play as cool and productive at home and move on.

They should've done that with Lampard.

He wanted Lewis Dunk, James Tarkowski and 31 year old Aubameyang. I don't blame the board for saying no...

Felix is a solid player but somehow quite overrated.

Apparently Leicester have wanted Tarkowski for the last 2 seasons and I'd say we have the best set of 3 CBS in the prem at the moment. Also I'd personally rate Dunk higher than Tarkowski. I think they are both undervalued because of the unpopular teams that they play for.

I read he wanted Rice, Jose Gimenez, Oblak and Zaha/Sancho

Bummer draw. At least three grade A opportunities for Ziyech, Mount and the James cross into the box that could have fared better. Mendy makes me anxious. We don't get enough progressive passing from our midfield.

What a performance. Just neutered Liverpool at Anfield.

Class performances from: Mount, Kante, Christensen, Rudiger, Werner, Mendy, Chilwell even Jorginho. Really saw explosive Timo against Klopp's high line and that shaky CB partnership between Fab and Kabak. Rudiger had Mane in his pocket. Christensen was just astounding in the center of that back 3. Wondering what Tuchel orients that line with Silva returning most likely being fit for Everton.
