Sorry, Ozzy, for the new thread. Please lock or merge as you feel necessary.
Since a lot of us work or commute I thought it might be helpful if people shared some good mobile apps worth downloading?
There is an official Euro 20112 app created by UEFA that I'm about to download but haven't tried. Anybody try this one yet? I know that the Score has a football app.
Any others worth installing? Please share and include some reasons why you like the app. There's usually 1 or 2 of these things that are vastly superior to the rest so this might be a short-lived thread.
Thanks!

I can now speak to the quality of the official app.
Solid news feed.
You can set it to send you updates via banner.
Clicking on any game gives you tabs that include:
"Highlights." This is just the major turning points in the game. It doesn't seem to show video. It's just a really fast rundown of the major substituations, penalties, goals, etc.
Commentary isn't bad. It's like a running blog. Could be worse.
Statistics is interesting. Has a visual representation of the goal showing the amount of shots on target centre, left, right and the misses. Also shows the classic colour graph most are accustomed to regarding corners, fouls, yellow cards, and red cards.
Lineups is self explanatory. It shows the formation.
This app is probably good enough for most people who can't watch on a better PC or on TV. If you know of any good sites that include video highlights please share.

Does the TSN app have anything special considering they own the rights in Canada?

TSN made a free app called "match tracker." No reviews yet but glancing at the screen shots it appears to be a barebones version of what UEFA is offering. I didn't see any screen shots indicating video as an option.
One thing I like about the UEFA app already is the functionality and group standings page. It has all the tiebreaker info and you can receive notifications while on the page and then quickly and easily return to where you were. The commentary/running blog posts are solid too. Pretty informative.
