One or two upsets already with Sheffield Wednesday beating Fulham 1-0 and Stoke City losing to Swindon Town 3-4.

He needs to do it against better quality, but Mirallas scoring 2 goals, hitting the post, and assisting on 2 more goals is a very nice way to get into Everton fans' hearts.

Brilliant game by Anderson so far, makes me wonder what he can be if he doesn't have an injury every fortnight. Not even Scholes controlled a game like this for a while.

Heard Cleverly missed a sitter. Meanwhile it's 1-1 in the Hawthornes. Sahin finally showing that class.

Ando was huge today pushing forward and making things happen. Rooney was also solid on the ball and it's great he got some big minutes in.

I kind of like the stability of 3 in the center mid and Ando/Clev's mobility makes us so much more fluid. With Fletcher moping up behind them they have so much more freedom to move forward.
How to fit 5 strikers and 3 wingers into the rest of the 3 spots is the real headache, apart from the defensive injuries ofcourse.

Giroud scored in that Arsenal game and he'd have been disappointed when even Arshavin got one.

Oh how I wish there was a Thursday Club. Giroud impression gets me every time, and one after this game would have been even better.

LFC's young boys pull it out. 2 goals from Sahin and even got the 16 year old Jerome Sinclair some time. Suso and Sahin need to be in our XI for Norwich.

Chelsea v United lol
That's two home games vs United in 4 days. I hope both teams play their youngsters in the League Cup match, but that's probably not happening

United have Arsenal the next Saturday as well. I don't think they'll have much of a choice but to go with youngsters, hopefully the squad's healthier by then. Really hope Phil Jones is back for that stretch.

arsenal have some nice youngsters coming up through the pipeline , really intrigued by the skill and speed of gnabry , glad frimpong is back , glad that giroud has opened his arsenal account and glad that even arshavin and walcott had themselves a good game. Good draw for us in the next round as well , both manchester clubs or city and chelsea could be out early in the C1C makes it easier to end the title drought lol
Giroud and walcott are going to give wenger a selection headache now for saturdays match against chelsea.
