How can we rank Messi's peak when he is still only 25?

Peak, there really is no right answer but I will go with

Messi
Fenomeno
Zidane
Ronaldinho
Christiano

Ibra doesn't belong in that elite group

Does it really matter? You still put him at the top of the list and Ibra at the bottom.

Messi
Ronaldo
Cristiano
Ronaldinho/Zidane
Zlatan

for me although 2-5 is very much interchangeable.

Ronaldinho's 2005-2006 was pretty amazing. The problem is that it was the only year, he carried barcelona to both league and CL titles, but sucked against France in WC, it has a good case for being the best peak.

Somebody unbiased at last.

People don't understand that even if you consider Messi the best player in the world, Ronaldo is RIGHT behind him. It's like 100 and 99. (I personally have Ronaldo as better, but that's just me).

So separating them by 4-5 spots on a list like this is illogical when they're that close.

It's not really separating by 4-5 spots. 1-5 are all extremely close and could be flipped around with ease. Ibra is the only one that is separated from the group.

Ibra? Really?

CR or Fenomeno or Zidane.. Inner Madridista is being torn apart right now.
Looking back at the stuff Zidane did makes it seem easy but CR is so decisive for us, and against teams that are considered to be much better.

C.Ronaldo is not close to Messi. Its not like 100 to 99, its more like 100 to 92 or so. CR9 is less talented than Messi, Fenomeno, Dinho and Zidane. Talent its not phisycality, its IQ, natural ability. Ibra in recent interwiew said that Messi is natural and CR is product of training. Exaclty. Cristiano is great player, but from these peaks he way better than Ibra, but worse than others. Messi is in the class of his own, maybe Fenomeno is close.

Isn't this about impact though? Skill wise CR only came close in his earlier years. He's still technically proficient but his impact has become much more consistent in the last three years. That's why I put him above the likes of Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, and Zidane.
