Napoli is looking good. Might give Juve a run for the title.

Your wife is watching soccer with you? She's a keeper.

After a long period of negotiation I have come to the point where my girlfriend likes to go to the stadium.
However, she mainly likes it because of the atmosphere and not because of the game itself.

Whenever I watch soccer on tv or laptop she tells me I should wait for the highlights because I'm wasting my time watching the whole game.

At least you get to take her to the stadium lol. My wife only fully watches games that are important to me such as all Colombia games, Falcao games, Chelsea games, and CL classic match ups and late stages. Oh she also watches games like Barcelona vs Madrid and stuff. Random games like the Arsenal game today and the Napoli game, she just browses the internet or does homework and only pays attention when something exciting happens

Inter is a very interesting team. They play very defensively, and they usually cover the midfield distance via dribbling with the ball. Interesting approach. They did not find clear cut chances against Fiorentina but they won the game in the end...

Roma are amazing right now. 2-0 up against Bologna already.

Gervinho just buried a lovely strike, what's going on.

edit: Make that 3-0.

I'm still for some reason not completely sold on Roma, even though they've won every game by at least 2 goals...I'd like to see how they do vs Juve/Napoli/Inter/Milan

Giuseppe Rossi joins Mario Gomez on the injured list for Fiorentina. Very unfortunate for them

Yeah Cuadrado was injured for Fiorentina for a while too. They haven't had the best of lucks. I am not sold on Roma either

I have similar reservations, but it's interesting to see them finally gelling and starting strong out of the gates, especially after so many seasons of disjointed play. Ljajic, Gervinho and Strootman look to be high quality additions. Also, Totti is still a boss at 37. :)

I don't think Inter are too much of a threat despite the unbeaten start, I suspect that Roma would dispatch them pretty easily on current form. But I agree that they need to prove themselves against Juve/Napoli to be taken seriously as title contenders again.

Roma 3-0 up against Inter at the San Siro and it's not even half time yet. :D

Balzaretti gets sent off and they still can't break through. Inter are awful.

Gervinho man of the match, again. Totti was awesome also.

Roma continue to destroy everyone they play. I am impressed.
Roma-Napoli on October 20th

How did they get so good?

They look very well organised defensively and really give teams fits on the counter. Gervinho and Florenzi have been dominating offensively simply because of their pace, and constantly find themselves in position to score or set up chances. They also get first class service from Totti, Pjanic and Strootman, and De Rossi seems to have toned down his box-to-box role to focus more on solely maintaining possession and protecting the back four, handing off most of his creative duties. Rudi Garcia also seems to be a very tactically astute coach and appears to have a strong bond with his players already.

After selling Lamela, Marquinhos and Osvaldo I honestly didn't expect them to be this strong. Really impressed.

Yea the movement of a lot of their players has been phenomenal, and really allows Totti to be at his best too.
Lamela and Osvaldo both had huge egos...Llajic was a great addition as he's similar in quality to those two, despite being strangely underrated.
They haven't even always been playing with a traditional striker so far, instead they use Florenzi-Totti-Gervinho up top in a 4-3-3

Tevez flops and Pirlo ties it up for Juve, who gave away a goal after 19 seconds. Juve still can't go a game without giving a goal away :x :-? I still expect them to win this.

Juve's got only two shut-outs this season...very frustrating. Meanwhile, Roma has only let in 1 goal all season.

Whos in the world ever thought Gervinho will be more effective than Lamela ?

So Moratti officially sells 70% of Inter to Indonesian businessmen. We shall see if they inject money into the club to help bring Inter and possibly Italian football out of the cellar. Take note Berlusconi and do the same. Sad shape my Milan is in.

1-0 in favor of Roma so far, thanks to beautiful free kick by Pjanic who continues to have a stellar season.
Totti off early with an injury though.
I expect Napoli to come through and tie it up
