My team vs. 5DOM

Formation: 4-4-2 Diamond

Image

Subs:
Marquinhos
Pedro
Antonio Di Natale
Antonio Cassano
Andre Shurrle

-Wanted to match 5DOM in midfield by providing more bodies in the middle of the park and are much more capable of possession, moreso than his team
-Pogba and Witsel as my box-to-box, Witsel moreso
-When defending, goes to two banks of four with Oscar on the left and Witsel on the right with Jovetic staying at the half way point and Gomez staying higher up
-Alba and Walker maintains width
-Xabi Alonso as deep lying playmaker
-High line and high pressing due to speed of the defence
-Gomez to stay high up and hold up play
-Jovetic to play as an inside forward and Alba overlapping
-Di Natale could be used if more attacking needed
-Marquinhos to be brought on and switch to a 3-5-2 formation should another CB be requried

4-3-3 line up. Went a little more defensive this time due to 4thQ's talented midfield.

-Lampard and Marchisio holding deep positions to help defensively and provide deep play making opportunities.

-KP Boateng is relied upon to use his physical tools to be both a play maker and provide defensive assistance to Marchisio and Lampard.

-Silva is at RW, but will shift over to the middle to assist Boateng with play making, this also gives space for Cuadrado to use his offensive skills and attack.

-Reus will be the focal point of our offense. He will be tasked with creating offense for Lewandoski as well as looking for scoring opportunities for himself.

-All starting 11 will be committed to pressure and defend as it to be expected from a Heynckes coached squad. This is crucial in this match up since 4thQ has Isco, Muller, De Bruyne, and Ibrahimovic on the attack.

Bench:
Guarin will come in off the bench to increase our defensive presence in the mid field using his physical size and strength. He is a true box to box guy that allows us to improve defensively while not losing much offensively.

Sneijder provides play making ability. He is our best offensive option off the bench. He would mean in case we need more control of the mid field.

Giaccherini is a very versatile player that comes in to provide instant offense either off the wings or on the central role.

Soldado provides a legit goal scoring threat

Mexes provides experience and reliability defensively.

- Sitting deep, waiting for counter-attacking opportunities
- Cavani and Tevez to harrass Xabi Alonso
- Kroos to drop deep and use his intelligence to influence
- Vidal and Paulinho to outduel Pogba and Witsel; Vidal to help Piszczek with Alba
- Coentrao and Tevez to attack Kyle Walker whenever possible
- Replace Mascherano with Alexis (RW) for more width if Vidal and Paulinho are sufficient
- Mourinho to make Conte cry

unfortunately I didn't win my group even though I felt I should have but oh well.

Starting XI vs Batu
Image

-Go with this lineup and dominate possession with my midfield against batu's , think there's a clear advantage there
- Ozil and Cesc pulling the strings for RVP , theo , and Lavezzi for them to create havoc on batu's team
- Monreal and abate both stay at home to deal with batu's wingers and attacking fullbacks but I think my team dominating in possession will nullify he's defenders attacking ability because they'll be defending most of the time , same goes with messi, he loses effectiveness too.

Image

if my team can't dominate the midfield i'll sacrafice width and go with this lineup and just own the middle of the park and if I have the lead i could use this lineup to end games and I could even bring on asamoah for lavezzi to bring on some more work rate and kill this game. and win this matchup

and this will be my fans everytime I score and when I win this matchup

Please put your team opponent in one post so that we can decide. Batu's team is up top and your team all the way down i get confused.

Team vs J-Mezzy

Image

4-2-3-1

-Bastian will be crucial in controlling the game for me in midfield, he'll be playing the classic midfielder while S.Bender will be protecting the defense from J-Mezzy's attack and should have no problem handling Silva if he comes in the middle or Prince.
- Made a change with Howedes, felt like he's really prone to errors and needed some more speed in the back with Santana
- De Bruyne - Isco - Muller will be very active and constantly coming in the middle, going out wide, and letting my dangerous full backs enter the attack.
- Ibrahimovic is always a goal scoring threat and will be looking to exploit Ferdinand and link up with my midfield.

Subs

Muriel - Available when I feel like I need to press or increase the workrate in the squad, also a great goal scoring threat.

Song - Very strong on the ball, and fits in very well with my midfield, able to control the game as well.

Howedes - I was hesitant in benching him however he provides very good defensive coverage if needed anywhere along the defensive line

Vela - Versatile winger can also play up top if needed, another key piece in my dangerous midfield.

Coutinho - My back up No.10, he will provide the play making ability off the bench if we're lacking in creating chances.
