Started today with Group A

Canada - Martinique

Mexico - Panama

Martinique just shocked Canada, beating them 1-0 with a goal in the dieing seconds of the match. Mexico vs Panama should be competitive.

Even with this poor play, I would still expect them to beat Martinique and Canada. It does appear that Panama is the best team in group A. It'll be interesting to see what happens in group B.

I feel for Canadian fans. I only saw the first half and Martinique was outplaying them. Martifreakingnique???

Mexican fans really need to calm down. They had issues on the friendly between America and Chivas and now last night. They are giving soccer fans and Mexicans a bad reputation.

Glad to see Donovan back in our team. We should be the favorites to win it this year.

MLS should be especially attractive where there's a bunch of franchises with big Salvadoran populations like Los Angeles, New York and DC. I remember living in LA when Cienfuegos was playing and he was an absolute star, Zelaya could easily be the same with his talent.

it was two drunks, nothing more. i was at the game, and it was the same type of atmosphere that most mexico games have.

the fire chepo chants were load and constant. not many were pleased with the ref either.

yep, there's a strong central american community in LA. Cienfuegos had great popularity here much like Carlos Ruiz.

Korea Town is basically little El Salvador. Cienfuegos was big for Galaxy.
