Man the odds on a Bale transfer are really low.

But I just saw the Marca say last week we agreed a fee to sell Bale in August!

Marca, especially with Bale news, is about as reliable as one of Chris Broussard's "sources."

When no one picks up their stories, you can tell it's smoke. Stuff like Martino to Barca and Higuain to Napoli has been picked up by so many other papers so it's clear they've got a reliable source for it. I wouldn't trust anything they say about Cristiano's renewal, anything about Mourinho, or a potential move for Bale until it's confirmed by another paper.

Is Zidane like a full time assistant coach now? I've been seeing him at all practices now a days.

yup

he's less involved with the director of sport role after getting his coaching license, I believe he's been involved in every practice so far.

Bale to Madrid being picked up by ESPN UK and Fox Sports...any credence there?
Looks like it's being picked up everywhere, actually...but Marca is reporting the contract figures.

ESPN is like the worst resource for football transfers. Almost as bad as goal.com or any other rumor site basically and they even explicitly mention that they are running stories from tabloid sources.
I'd give credence to the report if BBC or Sky picks it up.

Ah, ok makes sense. I get all my US news from ESPN so it's good to note I shouldn't look there for footy updates.

Levy might be considered cheap, but if we got a large transfer sum for Bale I would fully trust him to reinvest it wisely. Spurs got Lloris, Vertonghen, Dembele and Paulinho for around 50 million combined. That's good business.
