Fully expect City and Chelsea to take control of the league sooner or later. United will probably have a surge as well.

You guys really think that was a pen on Kos?
Decent point away against a good West Brom side, but still feels like two dropped. WBA have some good players in Amalfitano, Berehno, Sessegnon, and some dirty ones in Yacob and Olssen. Good balance, and they're organized, should do well this year.

Who would have guessed it would go Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, and Southampton in the top 4?

Southampton are actually a very solid team, so their good start isn't too surprising. They have quality all over the pitch. I remember last season West Brom were in a similar position (4th after 9 games, I think), and I suspect Southampton will finish similarly.

Saints weren't great after the first thirty minutes. The waved-off goal was a joke, though; shouldn't have been a corner, and Mike Dean knew it, so he blew the whistle as the ball crossed the line. If you know full well that you **** up the call on the corner, why not just reverse it?
Still, hell of a difference from last year; football under Adkins was manic, exciting, and filled with nonsensical mistakes. Football under Pochettino is clinical, ruthless and almost mistake-free, which the exception of those games where Danny Fox played, because **** Danny Fox.

Southampton are definitely a solid team. But, I doubt many would have thought they'd be above both Manchester sides and Tottenham, even if it's only 7 games in. They'll finish in the top ten though

Happy to see ravel come along well this season, hope his personal issues are sorted out and he keeps his entourage away.

Can guarantee nobody would've thought that, I think a lot of it has something to do with the great form of their defence. That back four with Boruc playing some great football is definitely what's keeping them up there
5 clean sheets already if I recall is a great stat and I believe (even though it's only 7 games) they've conceeded the fewest goals in the PL, Schadenfruede must be really pleased huge contrast from last year where defensive mistakes were the norm
