Without knowing the matchups,I've got Portugal,Croatia,France,Sweden

Obviously I chosed two teams from pot 1 and two from pot 2 so if they are matched against eachother my predictions won't be accurate

Really hope Rumania doesn't make it. They've made us their bitch in the world cup.

No worries ,we won't....and even if by some miracle we do qualify and end up in the same group you'll have your revenge

This isn't 1990-1998 anymore.....both teams had great generations back then,Colombia has one right now and we don't

Memories of Hagi and those 2 Rumanian teams still haunt our entire country at night. I think we will fall apart just to see your team on the field

This picture has been floating around the internet the moment we found out that Rumania was still alive. It say something like "crap, we are screwed"

Hoping France, Portugal, Croatia, and Sweden make it to the WC. Would be a shame for France to miss out.

Voted for the 4 I want to see go through. Hopefully the draws allow this.

Hoping Greece don't make it. Especially not after they burned our flag and reportedly offered money to the Lithuanian national team if they tied or beat us in this last game.

New FIFA rankings:

http://www.fifa.com/worldranking/rankingtable/

So Netherlands gets left out, I thought they should have leaped over Uruguay who is not even qualified yet.

Netherlands will be in the group of death, of that I am sure.

Shall we take a moment to discuss the hilarity of Colombia, Belgium, and Switzerland being seeded over Italy and Netherlands?

Italy was 4th and then drew their last 2 games and lost his spot. I have no problem with either of those teams being ranked ahead of Italy. Now Uruguay who is not even qualified and who is 5th in CONMEBOL being ranked 6th in the world is a bit hilarious.

It makes sense to you that Italy is unseeded while a side who haven't even been to a World Cup since 1998, who failed to make the semi-finals of the last two Copa Americas is seeded because they drew their last two games?

Colombia has been top 8 in the rankings for over a year now. They did enough to avoid giving it away and finished 2nd in what is easily the hardest world cup qualification region. UEFA has better teams, no doubt, but it is not hard for the top teams to qualify when they have to play the likes of Albania Cyprus, etc.

It's a point system. Italy was 4th and dropped points against a bad team while the teams behind them won. It sounds unfair, but that is the way the system works.

Either way, Europe has 4 seeds, S. America 4. We can't just give all the seeds to the Europeans. Your beef should be with Uruguay, not Colombia or Belgium who have been extremely consistent over the past 2 years.

I dunno why you turned it into a comparison of Europe and South America. Switzlerand and Belgium don't belong in there either. You shouldn't be seeded in tournaments until you've actually done something in tournaments.

And Uruguay deserve to be seeded well ahead of Colombia or the other two. They are the South American champions and they made the semi-finals of the last World Cup.

Uruguay got beaten handedly many times in South America over the past 4 years Argentina 3-0, Colombia 4-0, Chile 4-0. They were terribly inconsistent and finished 5h. Hell, how are they seeded if they haven't even officially qualified?

Colombia won most of their games in the past 2 years. The current point system is a "what have you done for me lately " kind of system. Colombia and Belgium have been damn good over the last 2 years and find themselves seeded.
