WC outfits

Does FIFA have anything to do with this tendency to match the jerseys and shorts in the World Cup, as well as a trend that they wear white shorts? (in the case of Holland the first not the latter though)

We have seen Germany play with white shorts only, as well as Argentina, while both traditionally have a black one instead. The Netherlands haven't played in white shorts, but only in blue/blue and orange/orange. Brazil never played with a green shorts. Spain with red jersey and blue shorts maybe once.

France, Italy, Netherlands, England, Germany, and most other teams all went away from their traditional gear, which I think is kind of a shame (Cameroun all green and no red shorts even smh). Argentina should have black shorts and Netherlands white when they play in the SF, but I expect Argentina white and once again Netherlands in full orange gear. Watch Germany finally have their traditional gear because Brazil has a white shorts or maybe they'll play in black lol (in the past both teams having white shorts was never a problem in football but apparently now this is something that's moved away from).

It's for the folks with black-and-white TV's.

Adidas thought it was cool. The official reason for Germany was something like that it represents the new, flowing style of Germany and some other bs. Makes me throw up.

Lol. When Frank Rijkaard became the Dutch coach he changed the gear from orange/white to orange/black, because he thought it was bolder and more intimidating or something like that. But anyway, I really don't mind it when teams change their kits unilaterally, but it's a pity all the traditional outfits pretty much disappearing across the board.

The Dutch have Nike though so Im not sure this trend of one colour kits is a thing pushed by the sponsor(s).

I know it's not that important but it's just somewhat annoying.
