If they really wanted Cavani, he would've already been a Man Utd player.
This has panic buy all written on it. Also 9M on wages + 10M agent fee.

A lot of teams wanted Cavani, Real Madrid included. The problem is he demanded at minimum a 2 year contract and a lot of money, wich obviously is a risk most teams weren't willing to take for a soon to be 34 year old player. But he still has a shot to be one of the best numbers 9 in the world, at least for this season, wich is something United really could use. He's always been in great shape, he's Ronaldo like in that regard, i think it could end up being a really good signing.

They're not a serious threat for any title let alone the CL.

The team will be lucky to finish above 7th place this year with all the serious competition for top 4/6 in the league, and they're not beating Leizpig for 2nd place in the group stage.

Maybe if they get rid of Ole this month the inevitable can be avoided.

Next defeat in the CL!
With the loss against Paris, next week could be interesting for ManU
The good thing so far, all three teams are at least in the EL.

I don't think they'll win the Europa League. They can be very good on some days and poor on others. One of the knockout matches they are sure to be poor. hopefully it's if and when they play us.

Ref gifted them a penalty and handball goal and they still couldn't advance.

Haven't watched much EL this season so far but I would be surprised if they were to even come to the final.

Man Utd getting a soft penalty?
No way that's possible.

Konaté slightly touched Greendwood in the box, it was a Christmas gift by the referee.

I'm no fan of Woodward, but it looks to me like the Glazers have made him the scapegoat to appease the fans.

Extended Bailly. OK depth signing I guess. I actually like Bailly, but due to injuries and performance(?) he hasn't played a tonne.

I think Bailly is a great player, I'd play him as your number1 CB. I'd have had him in Leicester when Maguire moved on.

Is the Europa league final the midweek after the last prem game? Any idea when your match with Liverpool will be played. That's a crucial match for the rest of us in the CL places fight.
