The All Things Colombian Official Thread

I am always hijacking all of the threads with updates or comments of Colombian futbol, so I decided to just write my own thread. Even if I'm the only one posting in it :-)

In today's update, James adds to assists to his fantastic start to his Real Madrid career. He now has 10 goals and 11 assists halfway through the season. Impressive numbers if you consider that he's like the 4th option on that team.

Meanwhile, Falcao continues to struggle at Man U. He's playing well, remaining active, but the finishing touch is just not there. United's attack does look infinitely better with him on the pitch though. Hopefully he gets going soon. We will need old Falcao for Copa America.

In other news, Carlos Bacca continued his impressive for with a goal and an assist today. Jackson Martinez also added a goal to his tally, making it his 14th in 17 matches. Ospina had yet another clean sheet for Arsenal as they get their biggest win of the season. Hope all of these guys keep playing well and the likes of Cuadrado, Quintero, and Falcao join the. In the prosperous news next week.

Last but not least, our U20 team lost to Uruguay in the South American championship. We will now need tough wins against Brazil and Chile to remain alive. Our coach socks and this generation is pretty weak, so I doubt we make any noise.

That's all for today ladies and gentlemen. Until next time, good night.

Edwin Valencia will join Santos of Brazil. Hope he regains his form, he was crucial to our success in 2012.

Cardona scored a goal for Monterrey. That team is full of Colombians, hope they win the title

Di Marzio says Chelsea are interested in Cuadrado who has a buyout clause of 35M euros.

That would be awesome. Not just because he is Colombian, but he'd pretty much round our midfield and attack up.

I would not like to be a defender if I have Hazard on one side and Cuadrado on the other. Cuadrado just fits perfectly to Mourinho's style of play.

I love what I've seen from James so far. Especially against Getafe the other day. His crossing is super accurate & he is so composed with the ball. In another team not named Real Madrid, he would be the best player and would have a lot more goals.

He has done well. It's hard to say his stats would be better for another team, but he'd definitely have a lot more freedom. I think being in Madrid is gonna help him in the long run. He's increased his work rate and defensive responsibilities. Doesn't look as flashy, but it's better for him

Ramos is in Dortmund. He's scored some goals, but that whole team is a mess.

I know Ospina hasn't been tested. I'm just joking around. But I doubt he loses his spot though.

James voted 3rd best playmaker behind Kroos and Messi. I think IHHS made the list.

Ospina has the attitude that a goal keepers has to have. He looks confident all the time and thats extremly important

Not a good week for the Colombians. Not a great game from James. Nothing much from anyone else other than Bacca who scored a couple.

Hopefully the U20 wins tomorrow vs Paraguay
