This tournament like always will break my heart. Hard to see Canada ranked 110th in FIFA compared to some of the other teams in CONCACAF.

north american teams need to play in copa america and they need get rid of this abomination of a tournament. heck scrape off concacaf all together, combine them with conmebol.

That would screw N American teams. Only Mexico and U.S could keep up

I agree that USA SHOULD participate in Copa America along with Mexico.

For USA, it would be great for them to compete with higher quality(no offense) of teams IMO.

For the COPA, it would be good to great $$$ and exposure to bring in the US.

Next year is the special 100th year birthday edition of Copa America, it will be in the U.S and both Mexico and U.S will play.

Mexico always get invited to Copa America anyways. Never won it though.

Considering the OFC still exists, it's a bit premature to talk about getting rid of CONCACAF.

Thought this is a step they should work towards, it's just too early right now.

you dont defend a mistake by pointing out another mistake. and concacaf has been around for 55 years.

Just to update, Mexico's Javier Hernandez is out for the Gold Cup due to a broken collarbone he suffered in a scoreless draw against Honduras on Wednesday night.

That's a big blow for Mexico. They also lost their best defender in Hector Moreno not too long ago too.

I think are still alright with Vela, Giovani & Peralta in the attack though. The defense on the other hand may be suspect.

I can't wait for the host cities of the Copa America 2016 to be named. Will be awesome to see the US match up against the South American teams.

The teams for this CONCACAF tournament are so meh.

I saw that, I hope not as well. Opportunities to see those South American teams play here do not come very often.

Kicks off tomorrow with Group A matches from Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas(Panama-Haiti, USA-Honduras).

Getting pumped for this tournament.

Hopefully Canada comes to compete.

Good lord, last night's US game was shambolic. Honduras could've committed murder and wouldn't have gotten a card. Classic CONCACAF
