News:

- Slaven Bilic confirmed as new West 'Aaaaam manager.
- André Ayew to Swansea City on a free transfer from Marseille.
- Newcastle have sacked Jon Carver.

Ayew is a good get for Swansea. I expect them to have a Southampton-like season.

Think Everton will bounce back again with no European football.

Rumours about Cabaye going to Palace and a return with Pardew. If they can get a top class striker as well they could make a similar push as Saints did.

Yeah, Everton surprised me with how much they regressed last season, but I hadn't thought too much about their European campaign. They did finish pretty well and have the talent to push on for a better league finish next season. I think it depends on how Spurs/Southampton/Swansea perform in the market. The top half of the league is getting stacked and it's hard to say how it will pan out outside of the top 4.

The TV deal with defo improve the party and make the PL much stronger.

Swansea and Palace could be more attractive than the Milan clubs in 2-3 years time.

Maybe in terms of what they can offer monetarily, AC Milan will always have the historic luster and massive fanbase as one of Europe's greatest ever. Middle-tier PL clubs really need to start making strides in Europe before they're considered a more attractive destination. When you consider the budgets of PL teams, a team like West Ham should even be able to make the Europa League knockouts without any trouble.

The problem is, many PL clubs are constructed to deal with the far more physical PL opposition and are tactically outclassed by more technical European teams.

Spot on. He took over a team under Juande Ramos who were dancing with the relegation and made them a title contender 2-3 years later. Beat a Milan team with Zlatan/T. Silva over 2 legs without conceding. Everything just went wrong at the end of that 2012 with the tax fraud stuff, Capello who suddenly quit and Chelsea fluking the CL.

Never gets any any credit because he is Harry Redknapp.

Our transfer business was crap when he was at the club too, Van der Vaart aside. Whenever he makes a good signing it was all down to his genius, whenever he makes a bad one, it was all the club's fault. Thanks to his litany of mates in the press, he rarely gets the flack he deserves.

Redknapp was a good coach for Spurs, and I'll always be fond of what we achieved with him at the club, but he is also a quitter. He jumps ship whenever he sniffs trouble or something better. He did it to QPR, Spurs (with the England job) and Portsmouth after playing his part in financially ruining the club. A thoroughly overrated manager.

I would call Scotty Parker and Crouch great signings as well.

Ramos to ManUtd and Vidal to Arsenal I think will be the biggest names that will come.

Vidal -> Arsenal
Lacazette -> Arsenal
Sterling -> ManCity
Begovic -> Chelsea
Schneiderlin -> ManUtd

Those will be the major ones this window.

a handful of reputable sources said today that we aren't targeting vidal. He's staying at Juve

I dont see Ramos or Lacazette moving either, not that I have really followed either transfer much. Sterling is leaving, no idea where tho.
