Introduction for those who haven't done this:
What will we do?
A snake style draft of soccer players with ideally at least 16 participants. Whoever picked first in round 1, will pick last in round two and first again in round 3. Round 1 will be determined by a randomized lottery.
The draft will feature at least 11 rounds, maybe 12 or 13 to select a couple reserves (and maybe a coach).
What happens when the draft is done?
We'll draw random groups (CL style) and vote which teams would probably advance. After the group stages are done, the winners will go into the knockout stage, again CL style.
As a long time poster on the soccer board here I can proudly announce that the winner of this years edition will win an air guitar.
Note: It would also be fun if we could get manage to create a simulated league mode on FIFA with the selected teams.
However, history shows nobody has enough time to create all the rosters and run that sim league.
Who is available to pick?
Every player around the world. You may prefer selecting those from the major European leagues, though, since hardly anyone here is familiar with the Australian league or whatever.
When will we start?
Once we have enough participants. Everyone will receive a message before we are about to start.
