Re: 2015
by the way, Luiz Adriano joins the list of people this summer who appeared to agree to join Milan and then backed out
I wish Lazio would make a couple significant additions this summer. I would hate to see them pull a Napoli and not make CL

oops yea I screwed up. My brother sent me this article http://www.gazzetta.it/Calciomercato/24-06-2015/milan-giugno-terribile-addio-anche-luiz-adriano-120299795384.shtml and even with the date in the link I didn't realize it was so old

Re: 2015
never thought id say this given how juve started the mercato but they might be worse than last season. losing pirlo, vidal and tevez is huge, that was basically the spine of the team last season minus Bonucci/Buffon.

Re: 2015
also if i was a juve fan id be pretty mad that Vidal went for only 40m euros considering the crazy prices we've seen for other players. a world class midfielder still in his prime should go for 50m+ easily especially on a team that has no need to sell him.

it's hard to wrap my head around all these exits but we've brought in good young players and experienced players. We still have Buffon. We must bring in Gotze or Oscar now... It may take a little time to regain chemistry but I don't think we got worse

Obviously still a lot of time but if you don't bring in another world class midfielder then I don't see how you're as good. Dybala is very good but he's young and certainly no tevez, who has been the most prolific player in Serie A for like 2-3 seasons.
Also zero chance bayern give up gotze, especially after losing bastian. Can't see Oscar leaving either mourinho loves him.

Re: 2015
I am certain we get someone to replace Vidal....Allegri wants a #10 and the names floating around, as mentioned here, are good ones. Dybala is no Tevez but we sold Tevez and brought in Dybala, Mandzukic, and Zaza...3 for 1 isn't bad, Tevez was only getting older.
I wonder if the drunk driving incident(s), as well as constant knee injuries had anything to do with Vidal's sale.

The funny thing about the Vidal sale is it shows how much of a snake Rummenigge is....four years ago he said Bayern wouldnt even want a character who is not keeping his word on their team....and now he happily takes the same guy who on top of that has been involved in a DUI crash recently lol.

Re: 2015
Juve are still far and away the best team in Italy, I think these losses hurt them more in Europe than anything, especially the loss of Vidal.
Most teams are 2-3 years away from seriously challenging juve, the investment into the Milan teams and the new stadiums built will make Italy much more competitive but it won't happen overnight.

Inter?? Hahahahahahahahaha
I don't think they are even favorite to finish top 3, let alone challenge for a title
Inter should challenge this year because Juventus lost too much of their spine. The french kid is going to take the italian league by storm and icardi should again be in the top of the goal scoring table.

Re: 2015
If Juventus lose their title (which I doubt), I would expect Roma or Lazio to seize upon that. Napoli could too, but it'll be interesting to see how they perform under Sarri, and though he did well with Empoli he's kind of a journeyman coach and has never managed a club this big before. Inter are a glorified mid-table team these days, imo.

I think you've gotten better up front. Mandzo and Dybala are excellent and will be a really dangerous unit with Morata and Llorente up front, even with Tevez's departure.
Sami isn't as talented as Vidal, but if he's fit I think he'll shine in Turin. Buying a ten and using Marchisio in Pirlo's role could leave you with a better best-11 midfield diamond.
Mandzukic --- Morata/Dybala
Oscar?
Sami --- Pogba
Marchisio
with Morata/Dybala, Llorente, Zaza, Coman, Pereyra, Stuttaro, Asamoah? (have you guys used him in midfield or has it just been LB?), and whoever I'm forgetting on the bench.
