What EPL Team Should I Follow?

Post#1 » by truth18 » Sun Aug 2, 2015 8:38 pm

I'm tired of not having a team in the Premier League to follow on the side. I've tried to pinpoint one that resonates with me for years with no luck. None of the teams really interest me that much, yet, I would like to start following the league a bit more closely, and having a vested interest in things should help a lot.

So, I've narrowed it down to the four teams I've pondered following over the years. Vote and help me decide!

I will be picking one of those four, so please don't bother making an argument for any other club.

Old as hell, but still pretty good considering he supports the same teams as you(Celtics and Pats).
Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, Kevin Garnett, Toni Kroos, Pep Guardiola, Ernst Happel, Joachim Löw.

If your a fan of the Red Sox too? (I See you support other Boston teams) Liverpool is owned by John Henry. That might be your best alternative.

Perennial failure? No thanks.

And yeah, I know they are owned by John Henry, lol. I'm a Sox fan (more of a casual one), and I've been watching football for years just never been able to choose an EPL team to casually watch. I'm watching every Dortmund game I am able to next year, I just want a reason to enjoy this boring league that everyone else in my city watches.

Picking one of those four.

Well...if you don't want to root for a perennial failure, then that would eliminate Spurs, Sunderland & Palace from the conversation.

Lol. Real reason is my Liverpool fan friends are super annoying and have made me kind of dislike the team. Same with my Arsenal fan friends. Nothing against either club really, but I don't want to join them.

Whereas I only have one friend who is a fan of any of these four teams, and he's not a delusional **** about the Spurs, and he doesn't live in my state.

transfer market is half the fun of today's football, chelsea would make you a bandwagoner so i would go with tottenham since they are pretty active in transfer market and most likely to be bought by a sugar daddy.

Spurs.

We aren't deluded like Liverpool fans you mention. If anything, we are immune to almost all trash talk because we talk more sh*t about our own team than others do about ours. Plus, we've heard it all.

On the positive end, we won't be relegation fodder like Sunderland and the future looks bright for Palace, but they have only been in the PL for 2 years. We have the best young englishman, a young and fun squad with a manager who prides himself on active soccer. We have a new stadium coming in a few years that will propel us even higher, plus I know the Pats have played in England a couple of times, so you could watch your favorite football teams in a stadium you can call your own.

Being a Spurs fan is also never boring and there is always something weird going on.

I would have suggested Manchester United, but my cousin played football/soccer his entire life and is a massive Spurs fan, so I'd suggest them.

I would go for Everton.

Chelsea is the bigger name and most likely to go into CL than the other options...

The Spurs would be a good EPL pick..

but if you want discussions, Chelsea is the more talked about and talented out of the four

I'm black, Massi. **** a lot of jewish women though, lol.

Leaning towards Palace.

Calamity, I'm not an idiot, lol. I follow the EPL, I just don't watch any games because I find the matches boring. I want to force myself to watch some non-big match up EPL games this year so I'm arbitrarily picking one of these four.

Why Everton?

Follow the team with the most Colombians in it, even if they are on the bench. Lol

I'd go with Palace. Spurs would be full of disappointment, Chelsea is.. you can't support Chelsea now, it's too late. Never really liked Sunderland but I think Palace have solid upper mid-table potential long term, and those are the kinda teams that can be more fun to follow imo. This transfer period has been a rollercoaster for me as a Villa fan, as infuriating as it can be I think I'd be bored **** if I supported a bigger team and just sat back waiting to see what World class midfielder they're going to sign this week.

I voted for Spurs and Anyone But Arsenal.

How are Spurs full of disappointment, but Crystal Palace is a safe bet  at least we have enough cash to field a good starting 11 for more than one competition. Go Spurs or go home. We play attractive (mostly losing) football and are (supposed to be) playing a high-pressure system this upcoming season. We're always going to be in the 5-6 range, but when we somehow get to 4 it's a **** party yooooo.
