As per Italy, not playing so well but still winning..sounds like nothing has changed. :D I'm wondering how will they look playing against a truly tough opponent tho, their midfield without Marchisio and Veratti just looks weak. Not to mention they don't have a WC striker...that's why I don't think they'll go far, but I do hope so.

Seems we as Belgians actually got pretty lucky by losing the first game. It's looking better and better for our future schedule. Group winner of Portugal's group in next round, Wales - third team in the quarter final that's not too bad. Still need to take care of finishing 2nd off course.

Where do you get your info from? Or I mean, why the hell is he a bust? Ok he wasn't playing well in the latest Belgium games but he's been a baller man.

Never able to deliver in important matches. He has got one good season in Bundesliga that we all know the offensive players stats are extremely inflated and nothing else. He didn't show anything at Chelsea and he didn't show anything at the City. They finished the league 3rd or 4th, he was extremely wasteful against real madrid as well.

to me he is the definition of overrated.

At Chelsea he had no chance to show anything cause he didn't get a place from Mourinho. He was injured a few months, came back and instantly Man City was playing football again. It's not cause he's Belgian that I'm saying this but he's pretty damn clutch :) Against Real he wasn't good no. Still only 24, first season at City and a pretty heavy injury halfway. He's ice cold and clutch.

If Ireland and Sweden fail to win, Turkey are in and will play Wales on Saturday.

I dont think Sweden have a chance, but Ireland against Italy's B-team. I could see Ireland winning that one.
Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, Kevin Garnett, Toni Kroos, Pep Guardiola, Ernst Happel, Joachim Löw.

I'd say Italy's B squad will beat the crap out of Ireland, but if they start one or less of the Juve back 3 we are liable to concede at least a couple goals

Should be an easy win today.
Maybe give Ibra a goal to celebrate his goodbye.

our starting XI:
Sirigu;
Barzagli, Bonucci, Ogbonna;
De Sciglio, Florenzi, Sturaro, Thiago Motta, Bernardeschi;
Immobile, Zaza

we should beat the crap out of them

Big penalty shout for Ireland. Fairly tense game otherwise, very nervy atmosphere from the Irish side.

The Belgium game isn't much better. Sweden look poor and Belgium don't have anyone in the box. Thought it'd be a cracker.
