Better defensively but on offense there's not enough movement(it's not even close to it) and therefore teams sitting back are easily able to defend it.
Should be a fun game against Northern Ireland who'll play nine guys in their own box.

You may be surprised.

NornIreland showed much more against Ukraine than Germany have in either game.

Seems Germany don't have the players to get down the wings and put crosses in. Teams just need to bottle up the midfield. Kroos and Ozil were very ineffective.

Only 2 group games. Sadly they won't accept that.

I didn't watch the full game of Northern Ireland but what I saw was them scoring a header and in the final minutes on a counter attack.
Other than that, they just sat back and defended with pretty much everyone they had on the pitch.
And I don't expect anything else against Germany.

If we're able to break down that defense or not remains to be seen but I doubt they'll have many chances going forward in that game.

They were on the attack most of the match.

Like I've said, I didn't watch the whole match but if they want to attack against us we certainly wouldn't mind that.

Chiellini, Barzagli, Bonucci, Thiago Silva, Ramos, Varane and Godin.

What are we talking about again?

They may be better in some areas, e. g. positioning, aerial dominance, etc., but at least acknowledge Boateng's ridiculously good all-around game.

His development really is impressive. Nowadays, he rarely commits a foul, avoids unnecessary sliding tackles, is damn good at passing the ball and building up the attack and on top of that, his athleticism is off the charts.

No need to agree with No_20 as such a statement heavily depends on your personal preferences, but there is no denying that Boateng is a world class cb.

To quote Cardiff City legend Malky Mackay, "I bet you'd love a bounce on her falsies".

Muller misses a far easier chance than Vardy. People on here will be calling him **** next.
