This is worse than anything even Arsenal have done, to my recollection

No. 3rd place still beats the predictions when the season started.

still auto qualification and lots of progress. Really lost it only because of discipline. Heads up , big summer ahead with CL money and a CL place to tempt players

Bapho you should be happy bro. Look your "not winning anything" experienced brother helping you what to do. At least, your choking is only for one year. These guys have been choking past 12 years and saying the same exact thing " still auto qualification and lots of progress. Really lost it only because of discipline. Heads up , big summer ahead with CL money and a CL place to tempt players"

That's true but when you're in a position to finish 2nd easily like BUCK said, and needed 3 pts from 12 to finish above Arsenal, it's still hugely disappointing. I don't even have the energy to berate the players after that, it's just shocking

I'm so dejected with football I'm watching Scottish playoffs

Nothing really changed after today so the season is still a success for y'all. Lots to look forward to. The Arsenal Spurs stuff is just a pissing contest.

Raps in 4.....

starting soon.

By the way, Turkish team Fenerbahce is playing Euroleague final. If some of you guys are bored at home, that game should be entertaining.

Best possible final day outcome for the Gunners. We win big, Spurs lose big, and City secures enough points to keep United out of the CL. It's disappointing to come up short again, but I guess it's better than missing out on the CL next year. Feeling for the Spurs fans though...that's a brutally tough end to the season but 3rd place and the CL is still better than 5th place and the EL.

hahaha.

I wonder if there is a class that Arsenal fans take to be this positive man. Seriously let me know. This is depressing, Leicester won and Arsenal couldn't win 13 years in a row but I look at all of you talking like everything is good, the team overachieved. I wish that's how I look at things as well.

of course we are mad but that reality hit a while ago no point to just rage on the net now , weeks after it happened.... If you really think Arsenal fans aren't mad lmao.

Funny how it's Arsenal's former scrubs who start speaking up.

No worries mate, in retrospect we deserved to finish 3rd after this run of poor results. And though the finishing below Arsenal run keeps going for another year, at least we made the CL this time. Also Chelsea are now the 4th best team in London, and put in the worst title defence in PL history (sorry treiz/fatlever/5DOM we have to find our silver linings somewhere).

Tbf Baph, when you have to choke it's good for you that you choke in the years when there are international tournaments around the corner (06' with Lasagna-gate, 12' with Chelsea winning CL and now 16') It's easier to get over than a summer with zero football.
Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, Kevin Garnett, Toni Kroos, Pep Guardiola, Ernst Happel, Joachim Löw.
