Such a cruel way to lose it, commiserations to Atletico.

Congratulations to Real, similar to the last final between these two. Ronaldo invisible for the whole game then comes up and steals the headlines at the end with a penalty

Should've switched with Handanovic, it's not like anyone would notice.

This is what? The third year in a row that Real Madrid utterly breaks Atleti's heart in the Champions League. Man, that's brutal, especially against one's biggest rival.

I am sad for atletico but i am happy for the best player in the world CR7. Dude is a winner one way or another. 3 CL with 2 different teams. Not like midget who hides behind one team and its system.

Atleti may have Reals number in the regular season, but real has been owning them so far.

Was a very boring match, But I'm surprised that anyone thought Atletico would win it, Hala Madrid.

It's clear that Ronaldo's not 100% fit.

Apparently he is never fit for a cl final. he disappeared every single one he played in, even the one he scored.

Don't think that's true of the 2008 final. I remember Chelsea had more of the second half, but Ronaldo wasn't invisible all game

Consider the source (all English papers), but the Metro, Telegraph and Guardian all gave rated him a 7 on the day

ratings might also be inflated by the scoring. i was going by from what i remember but quick look at available stats looks like he only had 2 off target shots and didnt cover whole lotta distance

I wonder what team he was playing for back then.....
