Lol what a scrub Wollscheid is. I remember he came from Leverkusen to us on loan, thought he was some kind of superstar and ended up sitting in the stands. Now hes bringing Hamburg back into the game.

Frankfurt is trailing again. If they loose their current homegame against RB too, they would have collected only twelve points in the second leg.

1. Liga?

Good luck against Hannover. You'll need it.
Unless of course you manage to pay the ref again lol

Tick tack tick tack. Even finished above Mainz.

It's always close but Bundesliga teams usually win the playoff.

Unfortunately Braunschweig (on the 2nd see in the 2.Bundesliga) is too weak that they even contest Wolfsburg. So Wolfsburg will highly likely stay in the Bundesliga. :(

I know that there's a game left, but when you look at the goal difference (19 to 13), you will recognize that Braunschweig is most probable one.

I'm just happy the season is finally over. We need major changes in Berlin and I hope Preetz is aware.

I hope that Berlin will understand to compete in road games next season.

Best thing about the Leckie signing: Preetz is actually doing something early. Other than that, I'm not impressed.

BTW, it's sad to see Stocker and Haraguchi leave. I think they're both players we could use. Oh well...

Leckie is one of the least impressing players in the league, imo. Dont understand why a EL team would sign him.

Only Ingolstadt players that are somewhat interesting are Groß (well already gone), Lezcano, Tisserand, Matip and Christiansen.
And Kittel if he wasnt made of glas.

Yeah, Leckie's a fast guy, but his production isn't anything special.

What's your take on Schmidt being released and possibly replaced by Sandro Schwarz?

Also, it seems like we're being linked to anyone possible on this planet.
Grifo has been mentioned before but it now looks likey we'll sign 19 year old Moreto Cassamá of FC Porto's under 19 squad.
And we're also linked to Simon Terodde(Stuttgart) and Enes Ünal(Man City) at the striker position. :eek1:

My take on Schmidt is thank god he's gone.
We have played horribly all season and it took him until mid march to make some adjustments. We almost got relegated because of his stupid kick and rush tactics.

I'm not sure what Schwarz can bring to the table. He got relegated with the 2nd team this year but it was to be expected that our 2nd team will not stay in 3rd league forever.

I guess he cant do much worse than Schmidt did this season and there probably arent a lot of capable coaches out there. So I'd not mind if Schröder gives him a shot but I guess it's more likely he will go for a different guy.
I just hope he doesnt opt for one of the usual clowns.

Dancing Pete at Mainz?

Anyways, maybe you're able to sell Cordoba for a nice amount of money to Cologne.

I wouldnt be opposed to selling Cordoba if the price is double digits and we get a decent replacement. Overall, Muto is the better player anyway. Schmidt was just too blind to see this.

Cordoba is a very flawed striker. Hes great at getting in possession and holding the ball.
He is mediocre at finding the open man with a pass.
And he is downright dreadful inside the box for a CF. Often he is the opponents best CB....

He needs to play smarter because right now he never shifts back a gear which is sometimes necessary for CFs to remain calm and dont end up gassed in front of the goal once the chance is there.

As I said, if the return is decent I wouldnt mind to part ways. If not thats fine, too.
