English managers sucking is also probably part of it

What are you basing that on?

I can't think of an English manager who is in charge of a top squad.

Here's to hoping Liverpool's pregame meal on Sunday is Lasagne.

Huddersfield have a decent amount of novelty value. Dominance in the 1920s but haven't been a mainstay in the top flight since the 30s, with brief stints in the 50s and 70s. Plus, Huddersfield, as a town, is the butt of jokes more often than it is the center (centre!) of discussion about football. So, good for them! And they did it without Jordan Rhodes. Many fans thought it was the end of the club's rise from League One once they sold him.

Reading is boring because they've been up so many times recently and fell flat each time. Three times now? Yoyo club with a bland fan base and club culture. Snooze.

Sheffield Wednesday would have been great to see up. Brighton will be fun and Newcastle bring a lot culturally to the premier league.

For everyone here, what would your ultimate Premier League 20-team season look like? Mine would be something like:

Arsenal, Aston Villa, Blackburn Rovers, Brighton & Hove Albion, Chelsea, Derby County, Everton, Leeds United, Liverpool, Leicester City, Manchester City, Manchester United, Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest, Sheffield Wednesday, Sunderland, Swindon Town, West Ham United, Wigan Athletic, Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Mine would be the same as Next Coming's, just replace Fulham with Spurs and Stoke with West Brom.

I mean really, lads. Really.

The only interesting thing about Reading is that they're one of the oldest clubs in England. I agree completely that they've done nothing every time they've been promoted. Huddersfield I don't mind as a club (and will be rooting for them in the final now), I'm just not particularly fond of their current team, they're dull as dishwater to watch and aren't particularly good at anything. Wednesday on the other hand had the best defensive record outside of the top 2 and were usually good for a bit of entertainment.

I do admit that David Wagner is doing a very good job to be competitive with such a humdrum squad. Perhaps he'd prove his worth even more in the Premier League.

Fun open game at the King Power between Leicester and Spurs right now. Lots of chances at both ends.

Nevermind, Leicester have gone on holiday early.

Probably wraps up the Golden Boot for Kane.

When Fuchs and Benny are the CBs either the manager has had an infarction or too many people are injured. Neither should be in the team in any position. Mahrez was a complete passenger as he has been most of the season and okazaki is a waste of space on the pitch.

I thought Chilwell, amartey and Vardy had good games but after quite a decent first half we went on holiday.

Congrats to Spurs fans even though I thought you'd win the league this season you still had a great season (at least in the EPL - you must be sick to see that Manure could be winning the europa cup).

Can you take the next step next season. I think I'm less convinced you'll be able to win the prem next year than I was at this time last season.

I'm honestly not that bothered about what United are doing, fair play to them, hope they win the EL. I'm just happy at the moment to see my team playing great football. Hopefully the accolades will come, but at the moment it's a pleasure to tune in and see this team play. For all the arse Sky talked about Pep, Klopp and Mourinho, it's been all about Conte and Poch this season.

WWWWWWWWWLWW is our current run, 33 out of 36 points in the run-in. Can't say we haven't given it our best shot, Chelsea have just been fantastic this season. I'd be happy if we at least showed up in the CL next season, this year was a shambles. That's the next step for me.

Chilwell was good, looks like a promising one for the future.

New Liverpool kit looks really fresh. The darker red looks great.

Arsenal net, they're 4th and Liverpool 5th as it stands.

Koscielny sent off! What drama!

Koscielny suspended and possibly Gabriel injured for the cup final too.
