Can, too.

It was like children against men. The level of play in the Bundesliga has regressed in recent years. Unbelieveable that this Hoffenheim team managed to finish 4th.

Leipzig will be same story. They'll be eaten alive if they get an unfavourable draw. And even if they get a favourable draw they will most likely go out, too.

That's what you get when one team is as dominating as Bayern.

This video review is getting ridiculous. Stuttgart awarded a penalty for nothing while we didnt get one.
It was supposed to get fairer. But the refs still cant get away from their bias for bigger teams.

Yikes, that second half.

Seems like we stop playing alltogher once we take the lead.
But hey, at least we got a point against a team we don't fare well against pretty much all the time...

It'll be interesting to see whether the Dembele transfer can help Dortmund getting closer to Bayern level in the next few years. Obviously, short-term it'll hurt them on the pitch but if Dortmund reinvest smart this transfer might help reducing the financial gap between Bayern and Dortmund significantly

Timo Werner has been balling. Only a matter of time until the first offers north of 80 mil drop in.

Meanwhile, Leverkusen look like they'll be in relegation race again.

That's what you get when one team is as dominating as Bayern.

The main problem is Bundesliga clubs allowed German talent to leave the country. To your point you could argue Bayern is hogging all the money not allowing other clubs to hold onto their players.

It would probably help if Bayern was more reckless with their money. A) More UCL success which encourages foreign players to join. B) Some moves would backfire, allowing clubs to sneak up and steal the Bundesliga title here and there

Once Bayern gets that new and expensive youth academy going, Uli's master plan of an entire (and football rich) nation being essentially one clubs academy, will become reality.

But in the short term, Bayern will most likely continue "penny pinching", which will result in more diminished UCL results and that will discourage elite foreign players from stepping foot in the Bundesliga

Nagelsmann exploited even by Braga of all teams. I would say it surprises me but it doesnt.

Bottom line of match day one in Europe: German teams are not competitive right now.

Not sure what Bayern wants with him tbh.

If they dont want to continue with Ancelotti they should go for Tuchel

Pep was over bearing

Carlo is too hands off. Players complaining about lack of training/Sundays off

Tuchel would butt heads with Bayern front office

Meh

Not like Pep achieved anything of note at Bayern. Besides, Bayern was 0-6-2 against Carlo led teams. Maybe he knows what he's doing

Tuchel was making terrible decisions at Dortmund.

Bayern's problem seems be the local golden boy Muller bitching about not playing and all of his backers both in the press and within the club undermining the coach.

You can tell how peeved Ancelotti is. And you can tell they will get rid of him unless he has a great CL season.

Which terrible decision did Tuchel make at Dortmund? I mean dont get me wrong, he is a difficult character but he certainly got the most out of this Dortmund team.
Dortmund will regret canning him.

They were too inexperienced and injury prone to really make a run in CL but he was winning games left and right in the league (played like their best season ever in terms of points collected, too, under Tuchel, cup final twice and won it once.

He's difficult for sure but backed it up with success.
