Lanus was better in the first half of the first game in Brazil, but then Grêmio adjusted his high lane man guarding in the second half of the first game and in the first half of the final game. As Lanus play with his goalkeeper initiating the offense like a "libero," Grêmio was able to successfully disrupt their offense rhythm and force errors. Lanus is a very organized team with some good talent, but Grêmio has a bit more offensive firepower on the offense, with a good passing system.
