Yeah, that's the gist of it. You get maximum points if you get the score exactly correct,but you still get points if you predict the overall result correctly (picking correct winner, or a draw). I think you also get bonus points if you're the closest to the actual result out of the pool, assuming nobody gets it exactly correct, if memory serves.

I'm in but will wait until the friendlies results end to do my predictions. A lot has changed recently.

I wonder whether our dear friend, the knowledgable Massimo will even follow this world cup given:
- Italy not in competition
- Turkey not in competition
- Zlatan not in competition

Special thanks goes out to Turkey for making the competition level even by deciding not to participate. Otherwise, they would be winning competition as usual with the all-time greats like Selcuk Inan.

At least Massimo can look forward to watching Fernando Muslera, top 5 goalkeeper of our time, transferred for more than 25 mil. to a top club...just like predicted by him.
