Trippier's actually even worse defensively, believe it or not.

Don't fancy our chances against Chelsea today. At least the Wembley surface is looking a bit better.

Chelsea were crap, we played them off the park. Could've been 5 or 6-0, we were that dominant.

Need to continue this against Inter and Arsenal now.

Our defence is so incredibly bad this season, besides the Aubameyang goal which was class all the Arsenal goals came from needless **** ups

It's weird, I thought we'd beat Arsenal but lose to Chelsea. Having said that, this is the difference having a coach like Emery makes for Arsenal. Made bold substitutions and tactical changes, Spurs defence couldn't cope with the through balls and passes over the top. A big part of the reason Arsenal are a good second half team is down to the manager.

Don't know that I'd call it our "trademark". Seems like this is the first year in many that we win these games we aughta draw. Typically we draw games we shoulda won. 12 draws last year shows what I mean...I think we had 10 the year before.

Beyond lucky though. Feel for the Everton fans. It's like: what kinda sin did you commit in your previous life to be born an Everton fan? I remember the year we won the Champions league....came in 5th in the PL, and they booted Everton (4th) so we could get in. Rules got changed after that.....but Everton must hate Liv with everything.

I really want to see Liv hoist a title or two, and then I wouldn't mind if Everton got one. Give the poor guys something. If I were a die-hard Ev fan....I'd get stinkin drunk, and run around pissing in as many Liverpool fans mailboxes as I could. Just run around shirtless, with viking horns or something......screaming and peeing.....until I got carted away.

Gotta have goals.

Anyhow....curious to see what happens to Klopp. Dude....you escaped yet another lack-luster draw mid-season. WTF you doing running around the field? 3-game suspension, would be my call. Maybe a fine. Act like you've been there. Took some real class by Everton's manager to go shake his hand a minute later. I woulda shoved his arse to the ground. And yes, I'm a liverpool fan of 20-some years. Was pretty happy about what happened.....but all we did prolong the point where I pronounce that we're out of the race.

The way we're playing, we don't have a chance. We'll be out of it mid-Jan latest. There's no reason for what he did.

Trademark in the historical sense. Liverpool have the most injury time wins in Premier League history, and by quite a distance too.

I agree with your assessment of the game otherwise.

I'll take you at your word...you seem to def know your footy. Clarification: Is that premier league...since 91, or whatever...or does that include before that?

Been watching since the later-mid 90's, and I'd say I've been a real Liverpool fan since about 98-99-ish. Granted, I have my goggles on.....but it sure doesn't feel like we've lived that life. 2007-2008 FA cup final. I'm sure we've had a few great stoppage time moments since then...but I dunno. We seem to be pulling em' out of our arse a little more this season...I'll give you that.

Like I said...I'm a fan. I'll admit I'm a tainted jury....as I can read you a list a mile long of the times we got jobbed =0)

I know we used to rule the galaxy....back in the glory days of black and white TV. But in my lifetime, it's been pretty bare.

That was the most rewarding 3 points of my life. I'm giving up football after that. JUST SO GOOD!

We deserved more, but I'll take a point at Old Trafford.
Hoping Holding isn't out for a long time, but I'm fearing the worst.

Was a strange game with very little quality, but very enjoyable nonetheless. Chelsea losing allows Spurs back into third, but the gap has opened up between City & Liverpool, and everyone else. As expected, I suppose.

Now we need to stay there.

We've got Man-ure, Wolves, Newcastle, Arsenal, Man-$ity in like an 18-20 day stretch coming up.

If we manage to roll through that....I think we can start talking about it. But we will have to see where we are.

Decent away performance against Leicester. They started off the better team, Spurs grew into the game a bit second half. Sonny strike was a bolt out of the blue when we were playing fairly poorly. 6 points off top now with City losing, not that we have much of a chance of winning.
