Don't know if we can do you a favour, but at the very least Spurs have proven they can beat City

Insane title race

Well, I'm not completely neutral in this case because Chelsea are a top four rival and we need to be in next year's CL. But in the title race overall, I don't know. It's hard to say. It's remarkable that Liverpool have been able to keep up with a historically great City team, even with Salah off-form for most of the season.

Also Hazard is in my fantasy team, so those misses did hurt a little bit

So first year without Arsen. Thoughts? Just kinda curious. I thought Emeri was pretty good overall......but I don't watch a ton of your games.

There’s been some ugly stretches of football not going to lie and most of it coincided with Koscielny , Holding , and Bellerin not being fit in that December-January stretch so we played really cautious to protect our defence that played Mustafi and Lichsteiner and our football was ugly. But since the we reinserted Ramsey(who emery kinda froze out because he was leaving) back into the team , Maitland-Niles has become a decent RB , and Koscielny has become fit again we’ve been solid “.

We’ve been a lot stronger in games against the top 6 and our only bad one was Liverpool away. Been pretty strong in the home ones. Our home record overall has been title winning level but we are a bottom 10 side away from home. I think most of it has to do with our instability in the back and lack of athleticism on the wings(we essentially have no wingers) and in midfield.i think there’s psychological aspect as well dating back to last year. Still need a lot of work on the squad in summer and we got a decent chance at qualifying for the CL again either through the league or through the EL so hopefully that raises the level of the signings possible. Stan whipped out the cheque book for the Rams man he better deliver for us too.

Leno , Guendouzi , and Torreira have been pretty good signings. Need another good summer

Mustafi really ended our top 4 challenge. Can’t believe he hasn’t been abused out the club yet, the amount of times he’s cost the team

Good old Arsenal and United failing to put pressure on Spurs after the City defeat

Hopefully Chelsea can slip up against Burnley now

Newcastle are the kings of consistency.
Same amount of points, wins, draws, losses, goals scored and goals conceeded as this time last season.

Awww...you thought that was a dive?? I mean....yes....the 'falling' part was totally contrived. But the defender did everything short of a happy ending to him, before he went to ground. At some point, you gotta be like "hey man....blow the f&%*# whistle!!"

Far far far cry from the "diving" that typically goes on down in the box. IMO

I actually think Salah is pretty good about it. Selling the fouls, or eventually going to ground after you've been held, and all your momentum and stuff has been ruined is one thing. "Diving" is another. I'm sure folks can drag up a couple Salah 'dives'....but I find he typically tries to stay up and complete the play.

Chompers was usually good about that too (when he wasn't biting you, of course).

It was meant somewhat sarcastically. Opposing fans & media love to give him **** for it.

The defender was all over him & so the foul was justified from my pov. But yes, he's mastered the art of it.

Ahh...my bad. Always hard to tell from type.

On a side note.....always enjoy the little "Milner shuffle" he does as he takes PK's. So at least the people got that =0)
