Julen announcing he’s taking over at Madrid adds an interesting facet to the first game with Portugal on Friday.

Fully erect when i heard toronto will be hosting games in 2026 and now this.

Think Spain are too good to go out in the group stages but I think Portugal, with a good showing this Friday, could take the group now.

Not that I expect Spain to lose a lot here, shouldn't at the group stage IMO, but should Spain fall back and barely make it out or get eliminated early, the federation will be the ones to burn.

Such an angry reaction by the federation. Shouldn't have come to it imo.

lol Hierro, he's a classic though. I'm excited to see what they can bring. Hierro was always **** Hierro so watch out for Hierro the coach. I disliked him as much as I dislike Sergio Ramos now but they're both very very solid defenders. World class in their era.

Got Morocco here. Benatia, Hakimi, Belhanda, Ziyech. Showed solid form going into the tournament.

Iran wasted great chance to score. Still think Morocco will win it.

I dunno man that was a pretty good header off the corner. It was just at the wrong goal.
