Wow, what a disaster for Morocco. Feel sorry for that guy, he might as well ask for political asylum in Russia now... afraid somebody will chop his head off after coming home.

Perfect placement too. Right inside the post. Froze the goalie

I laugh, but I feel bad for the guy

Yeah, just imagine preparing for the World Cup for so long after a long qualification campaign, the first your team has been in for 20 years, and that happens.

Now they have to get something against both Spain and Portugal. Brutal.

Dissappointing for Morocco. They played really good in first 20-25 minutes and probably tired after that. Good result for Iran, all they need is a draw in one of the next two matches and to hope for good results in other matches in their group.

Spain are going to have to watch that flank

Ronaldo could tear them a new one

And people wonder why Ronaldo is so hated. Typical dive to trick the ref... what a cheap penalty shot.

The flopping going on is a work of art. NBA players need to take some notes.

That was definitely a penalty IMO after watching it a couple of times. Stupid foul by Nacho.

As much as I hate Ronaldo, this was a clear penalty.

That was a pen for sure, there was enough contact. Ronaldo did embellish it a little, but he'd be remiss not to.

Was there a contact? Yes. Was it enough for Ronaldo to fall? No. Did he sell it to referee? Yes. :banghead:

I respect your opinion. But I would not fall from that kind of contact if I was playing.

A pen could be given.
A foul on Pepe could be given.

Portugal still depending on Pepe en Fonte is a bad omen.
