UEFA Nations league

Post#1 » by AK47MVP » Sat Oct 13, 2018 4:21 pm

Miss thread to talk Nations league. There is more than just England or German teams TBH.
I am looking to Denmark Ireland game. We all know how it ended last time in Dublin. Difference today - No Eriksen. Will that be enough for Ireland to claim their first win in Nations league or Danes will be superior again despite missing their best player?

Thanks for this.

Watching Norway vs. Slovenia right now, in an act of self-torture. Good goal by the Norwegians, mind.

Man what a weird chance by Ireland... Danes surrender possession as a fair play due to injury yet one Irish dude decides to use that and sprints towards Schmeichels goal just to miss it wide to the right... had he scored it would be all legal but as unsportsmanlike as it gets.

Denmark established domination of possession but not creating much of the chances, except last minute Sisto's shot which hit the outside of the post.

Great performance by England today from top to bottom. The front 3 of Kane, Rashford and Sterling, all awesome. Big Eric Dier merked Ramos. Very pleased with it.

I really don't get why he would lunge in like that.

he was right and i say this as a dutchmen we have been very lucky this game. If you watched the game the netherlands played with 8 behind the ball and germany had alot of changes. Imore fair scoreline would be 3-1 for germany. But in the last 15 minutes germany just gave up ( totally not german weird) and gave the game to the netherlands

but iam happy and very good for the moral of the country and in 5 years we will have a great team. Alot of talent is coming out of the youth system the next 5 years ( if everybody chooses the dutch national team off course many multiple passport holders between them)

Good game Wales-Denmark - winner takes the group so both teams are eager to score. Some nice chances missed in early minutes by both teams.

I am happy for Danes for winning their group but Wales was impressive in that 1-2 defeat as well. Their short passing was great and they created quite a few decent chances - Schmeichel was amazing with couple of impressive saves.

England were exceptional again against an excellent team.

I know it's easy to dismiss the World Cup performance as a fluke because of our supposed easy knockout draw, but this team really is a lot better under Southgate. Kane could have had a hatful but he scored when it counted. Top to bottom, some good performances. Onwards to June.
