Here's to another good season for English clubs, both domestically and in Europe. Fixtures for the upcoming season will be released on the 13th of June.

Will be an interesting window for Villa, half the squad are leaving and they'll need to try and keep Mings. Tammy is probably gone with Chelsea looking to take their transfer ban.

They can only resign their own players, they can't register any one new is what the ban really is I believe.

So if they eat the ban this window they will likely be recalling loan guys like you said. The big loanees to me would be Mount and Tammy.

Tammy going back will really hurt villa.

I think Mason Mount is going to be a big player for Chelsea next season.

Man Utd are the team in real disarray. Pigs like Pogba, no defensive talent (or aged defensive talent) and an average (at best) manager. Unlikely but possible they'll miss out on Europe this season.

Arsenal - what are they doing? Defence in disarray, yet they are talking of offloading a fantastic striker - possibly one of the best in the prem in obamayeng. They are talking about big purchases but reportedly only have £50m to spend. If they play like the end of last season they don't make the top 6 either.

Everton and Wolves making good buys - West ham looking better too (not that that means anything) - and hopefully Leicester making a push along with Watford's ability of endurance and we could see a new team or two in the top 6.

I think Spurs being a lock for top 3 hinges on Eriksen staying or going. It's looking like Spurs are going to sign Lo Celso and Ryan Sessegnon to add to Ndombele, which are all potentially fantastic signings, but if Eriksen leaves there's going to be an initial dip in overall team cohesion.

I think Wolves and Leicester are the teams to watch this season. I love the permanent deal for Tielemans and the team looks to be back to their fast-paced ways under Brendo. I'm curious how Wolves can follow up their amazing return to the PL. Arsenal just made a decent loan signing in Dani Ceballos, but their defence still looks suspect like you said.

Regardless, City and Liverpool look a class above everyone else and I don't expect much to change in that regard either.
