Eriksen has been atrocious, shouldn't be on the pitch if his head isn't in the game

Oh man, I bet Atleti 0, but I'd rather take Juve win, so close... Sandro was the best player, ncie to see him rock it again. I was predicting that he'll be back once we got Danilo, brazilians need other brazilians to play well.

What on earth is going on at Real? 0-2 down at home to Club Brugge. There's time to turn it around, but worrying signs for them.

It's looking like Real might win now, 2-2 with Brugge a man down.

Good goal, that was coming. Sonny had to finish one of those chances.

That's a brilliant strike by Kimmich. Very open game.

Man oh man, what a woeful defensive display.

No protection for the back four whatsoever. I wish Poch would stop using Harry Winks like a holder.

I'm starting to think that Pochettino has to go. Some of the performances from players have been bad (Aurier is beyond useless defensively), but the game management is consistently awful, and playing a diamond against Bayern who carry big threats from the wide positions is suicide.

Such a bittersweet match to watch seeing Gnabry and Bayern absolutely wreck Tottenham. Beautiful seeing Tottenham getting smoked and by Bayern (who made Arsenal look terrible 4 or 5 years ago when Arsenal kept running into them the last time they made Champions League), and to see it done at the hands of Serge Gnabry is nice. Painful though, seeing that this is the same Gnabry that apparently could not cut it at Arsenal and in his loan spell at West Brom Tony Pulis said he wasn't good enough for the Premier League. Sigh.

Thanks Baph. Now we are officially not the worst team to play Bayern this season.

Wow!

I didn't see the match. What happened? Capitulation or just bad luck?

Had no idea Marko Marin was at Red Star. That guy bounced around everywhere.

Decent first half from Spurs so far, though. Deserve the 2-0 lead.

5-0 win, we needed that... Put in a good shift at Anfield at the weekend and try to get this season back on track. Ndombele, Kane, Lamela and Son were fantastic tonight.

sonny sprinting to blow out the defender & ndombele piercing the perfect pass were a thing of a beauty. we'll probably see a lot of those.

Poor game from Ajax against Chelsea. But a draw would have been the fair result. The disallowed goal for offside was a joke.

Benfica finally got a W to place them within contention. Never mind the fact they should be handily leading the easiest group in this year's CL.

I disagree. It is the group that allows Benfica to finish in the first place because Benfica got the weakest team from pot 1. But there is also one of the strongest team in pot 3 (that hadn't lost in the group stage for 2 years) and the strongest in the top 4.

So... the group that allows the first place but a group where everyone can win the group and be eliminated isn't the easiest one, as it will depend on the form of the teams. Still, no excuses as we should have done better... at least in Russia.
