He played the ball to Trippier before he crossed it for the goal. A hickey assist.

Donnarumma vs. Pickford feels like a huge mismatch.

I only participated in one shootout when I was playing in high school. I rolled it pathetically wide of the net.

I hate those stutter penalties. These Brits are choking.

These young bucks are horrible penalty kickers.

Congrats to Italy. Good goalkeeping saved them today.

Horrific kicks. South Gate overthought it . How can your number 10 not take a kick

Sterling and Henderson needed to step up. Both of them have been in champions league finals. Shouldnt be relying on a 21 and 19 year old to score there.

Didnt realize Henderson came off at the end. Grealish should have took one instead.

Outside the Spain game, Italy just looked so much better than other teams, and that was without a proper goal threat.

So the populist govt in UK allowed almost a full Wembley when they figure it out that England might need it, and they got to the finals after a penalty gift, only to lose on penalties.. poetic justice. Love it
Well deserved for Italy, they have been the best team the whole tournament.
