Best U19 Talents

Post#1 » by Foye » Sat Jul 25, 2020 9:13 pm

Lets make a thread for the best fairly unknown u19 talents to keep an eye on in the future.

I will start of with 15 y/o Moukoko from Dortmunds U19 squad:

Another guy I really liked is 18 y/o Lucien Agoume. Not sure whether he really did himself a favour with the transfer to Inter, though.

Who do you think will be a superstar in the future?

I'm going with some danish talents then - most of them overhyped prob.

Maurits Kjaergaard:

Just turned 17, midfielder - sold last year to Salzburg, who sent him on loan to FC Liefering in the 2nd best league in Austria. Been a profile for them since the restart. Not much footage on youtube. Talked of as one of the biggest danish talents.

Wahid Faghir:

16 years old, turning 17 in a couple of days - winger/striker. Been a starter for Vejle FC in the 2nd best danish league after the restart in June, in a time where they fought for promotion and ended up winning the league and promoting next season. Again very limited footage on YouTube.

Mohammed Daramy:

18 years old, winger/strriker. Are a starter for FC Copenhagen, the biggest team in Denmark who are doing fairly well in Europe aswell. Team have struggled in the league this season fighting for 2nd place in the last game, far behind the leaders. But Daramy has been one of the bright lights for them this season.

Max Fenger, striker:

18 years old. My local team in Denmark, Odense Boldklub, have struggled most season both with results on the pitch and injuries. Fenger has never been seen as a great talent, but when he got the chance after the corona-break, he proved to be better than the pros at the club. Hard working kid with 4 goals in 3 playoff games for a european place. If he can continue and improve next season he is on for a big sale. Again not much footage of him, literally a 'nobody' 2 month ago, now the best player for Odense since the restart. His latest goal:

Anis Ben Slimane:

19 years old. Very good season for him at Brøndby in the best danish league, came on a free transfer this season from a 3rd division club. Could very well be a key player for Brøndby next season, who are looking to rely more on younger and cheaper players.

Not a lot of highlight videos to show yet but Mainz has quite a few good talents in the youth teams. In the past few seasons alone we have Müller, Baku, Barreiro and Burkardt who have made it to the pros.

Best youth academy talent is probably Paul Nebel. Cant wait for him to finally step on the grass for the pro team.
