Would be gutting if it resulted in two late season collapses.

Last week of the season is very hectic. I expect Liverpool and Leicester to win. Could see us bottling tbh.

I don't see the shame in finishing a couple of points behind a stacked team that then added £220m of players in the summer nor of finishing behind the last 2 winners of the CL trophy and beaten CL finalist and the Europa champions winner. The smallest of who are valued at 6 times what we are.

Remarkable achievement from Leicester. And we won the FA Cup.

These media pretence of collapse is quite funny. All teams don't play the same level of opposition every week. They don't even play the same number of games. Some teams have more injuries, some teams have bigger squads. The league is played over 38 games and after those you get a reflection of your position.

Leicester have had a remarkable season whether they finish 3rd , 4th or 5th and only squad depth and opponents have meant we've won less in the last few games. we play a very taxing high pressure game which is sure to run out of steam after a lot of fixtures and with injuries to key players.

He's the best CB at Chelsea but he's also a punk. At least here he didn't go at someone with their back turned to him.

I wouldn't swap him for Fofana, Evans or Soyuncu.

Special player

He's not even the best English midfielder in the prem but he is certainly well hyped.

Well clear of Maddison :naaa:

I know that I let this go because I was talking about how much better Grealish is than Mount but just in case you didn't realise

Mount : 52 matches, 9 goals, 8 assists.

The injured Maddison : 41 matches, 11 goals, 10 assists

It's like comparing Mount and Mountain.

Not sure Maddison even gets onto the plane to England anymore, whereas Mason Mount is nearly a sure fire starter in his position.

Maddison simply doesn't have the attacking and especially the defending versatility.

Any fan who equates playing for England with being a better player is a bigger fool than I imagined. Then again Bench Ilwell plays for England too.

Check out the match between Leicester and Chelsea when Maddison and Mount were both fit:

Is that Maddison 8.13 and Mount 4.41

Where was Mount? And I see Rudiger was punking again. Bench Ilwell looked pretty good too.

You can cry about it, but all of the top players are going, save potentially Grealish for injury concerns.

Maddison is a burnt out flame. Not sure he even gets consistent minutes anymore next season with Barnes coming back from injury, and Vardy and Iheanacho already up front. He doesn't create as much as Mount or defend nearly to the same extent. And has a body more busted than 43 year old Lampard.

I like the Soumare addition though. One of the most promising young defensive midfielders in Europe.

A panna is nothing special, unless it leads to something.
All these technical compilation are bull****.

Give me a compilation of through balls who set up a goal (cfr. the pre-assist or hockeyassist).
For more skill an football iq required for those things.

Crying, that sounds like you. 1 Final lost, a CL place in question and another final not yet won. In a week's time the team that added £220m of talent to a CL squad may end up with absolutely nothing from this year. Let's face it with the FA Cup lost, if you lose the CL final this season will be a failure as far as your owner is concerned. If you lose to Villa and City beat Spurs on Sunday the embarrassment will be too much to bare for a few of the plastic supporters that Chelsea have. You need 2 victories to save your season. Ours is already a success.

I see that Spurs are going to try again to sign Brendan if Leicester don't make the CL. It's a bit embarrassing for a big club like that to be turned down 3 times by the same man in a month.

He's gonna say "NO" again.
