Cavani's blown a couple chances today, he could have like 4 goals

If we get in the final, we win.

Arsenal gave away the first goal so easily. They will need to be brave for the 2nd leg.

I think it depends which team turns up for Arsenal in the second leg. Villareal didn't look a very good side but Arsenal can be very good or very bad.

I expect more disappointment from Arsenal. I hope I'm wrong.

We could see Arsenal tonight, but we also could see Arsenal tonight.

You're on the front foot but that's your first real chance. Villareal have had 2 decent chances already.

Sorry guys. Could be the first time in 25 years that Arsenal don't play in Europe. Big changes needed but it'll be difficult without the lure of European football.

Arsenal just anticipated a 2 year ban from European competitions due to the Super League dilemma anyhow.

It(s the perfect time to rebuild. Only play the people who want to be here and are good enough to be a part of the rebuild.
Even if it means we've got to play more youngsters. They've been our best performers this season, so why not.

Get rid of expensive rubbish, players who don't want to be here, ... and get some players who have grit and quality. Maybe not even top quality. Coquelin is a perfect example. He's not a top pleyer, but he's the kind of player who makes life easy for a playmaker (Parejo at Villareal for example).

I've been through some rough patches supporting this club, but this is a new low. I can't even make jokes about it.

I agree you should look at the young players coming up through your ranks. IF you can get rid of the lazy superstars then you have to do it - but will anyone be willing to pay them. Auba is world class at his best but he really hasn't had the mind set all year (and longer). I think you should sell him if you can and your midfield needs a complete overhaul. If you're still playing Xhaka next season (next week) then there is a problem.

I can't see Odegaard resigning, Partey has been an expensive flop and I'm not really sure what to make of pepe (which is why I question Arteta's ability). The defence has some quality but you need a top CB and the DCM which every top club has. Midfield is just a mess Ceballos too might as well go because he doesn't want to fight for a place. You have some good youngsters for attack and attacking midfield, Perhaps Saliba and Guendoza should be recalled from loans.

In short complete remake of the midfield, Saliba or quality CB and go with your youth upfront.
