They are two completely different types of attacker from 2 very different eras, so it'd depend on the team and the time.

Okay now that foolish Superlegaue talk is finished back to the serious subjects.
If I wanted a player to maliciously kick another player in the head I'd take Shearer (Lennon).
If I wanted a player to chew on another player I'd take Suarez.

how do we play?
cause Shearer would be nearly unplayable in Barcelonas style for example.
Not to high on Luis Suarez playing for some 100% old time british style either.
Very different type of strikers.

Suarez and it ain't even close. During his peak he was the best striker in the world, and his impact on the game through his passing and dribbling was something Shearer could only dream to achieve.
