Spurs had one disallowed against West Ham because it hit Cresswell's head first, then the arm. So I expected the same to happen here, but nope. This one was much less of a penalty. The referees had a very poor game, I thought.

That one just about took the proverbial cake, but handball penalties are never not cheesy, regardless of the circumstances. Easily my most hated call in all of sports. 99.9 percent of them are totally inadvertent and goals are hard to come by, so they always feel ridiculously cheap to me.

That penalty against Martinez was as clear as a not penalty by rule book as it can be.... and yet VAR gave it? Fire that VAR ref. That is all I can say.

so blatant this year that you'd think the refs were trying to sabotage VAR.

A friend of mine along with many others was attacked by Nice supporters and it was completely unprovoked. All the evidence is being sent to the authorities. Disgraceful behavior.

I'm very sorry to hear that. Why is football afflicted with these morons who use it for violence? It has been getting worse in France over the last few seasons.

Same situation today in Marseille. Marseille „fans“ hunting Frankfurt fans in small groups.
Also french speaking „Eintracht fans“ showing forbidden nazi salute.
Eintracht fans haven‘t been known for that last year so I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt once.
France got some serious problems to solve.

Another boring Man U game. Yes - they won, controlled the game, but excitement and entertainment was missing. Just feels for the talent they have they should be more dominant vs teams like that.

CR7 is completely snakebitten right now, and I think he's about done as a world class player. That said, he doesn't get the best service.

He'll still destroy lesser leagues, but he's not up to snuff for the EPL chase.
