2-1 win in Augsburg in the last minute.

7 points from 3 games. Off to a great start to the season!

Don't know what it is about Oliver Burke and the Bundesliga, but he took that winning goal for Bremen so well.

I read today that it was the first time in 8529 games in Bundesliga, EPL, Serie A, La Liga and Ligue 1 that a team was able to win a game while being down 2 goals or more in the 89th minute.
Hasn’t happened in 13 years.

Classic Dortmund choke.

Amine Harit.

Tell me about him. I'm severely underwhelmed by what I've read.
I remember when the Dolphins were perennial contenders

He will have one game a season where he looks like a class player and disappears for the rest of the season.

He is one of these players where I have literally no clue why anyone would sign him.
He is neither a quality starter nor a cheap backup.

That's what I thought. Another Leicester Ballsup on the way.

Looked like Harit was signed and sealed but now Schalke only want a sale and not loan. Hopefully it falls through :-)

Gotta say I am a bit disappointed by the fact that we didn't sign a new CB late in the window.
Our back five features some of the slowest players in the league.
We needed to get one quicker CB to replace Niakhate and St. Juste's speed against certain opponents and we have failed to do that.

This probably cements that we are going to lose some games because our defense is too slow on counter attacks similar to the way we lost against Leverkusen last weekend.

Kolo Muani is a problem. Good striker.

Gotta love those dirty away wins.

1:0 in Gladbach.

What a free kick by Aaron Martin.

Defense is still shaky as f*ck.

We need to get a fast CB.

Mainz support today after 1:4 loss

Need some new CBs. Ours are either slow or dreadful. :(

Shame Niakhate left. We miss him and St Juste a lot.

1:1 draw against Hertha in the last second.

Dreadful game. Couldn’t compensate the absence of Burkardt and Stach.

Leitsch continues to be the professional player with the least ball control I have ever seen. Conclusion same like every weekend: We need some new center backs. Better two than one.

Reus carried off the pitch.

Classic Reus, getting injured before a major tournament. Sucks for him.

Difficult away game in Freiburg today.
Lets see if we have found a way to fix our Swiss cheese defense.

Seems like Nelson Weiper is on the squad today. Might see his Bundesliga debut. Probably the best talent in our youth academy currently.

2:1 loss at Freiburg.

Terrible first half, solid second half but couldn’t get the ball behind the line in the final minutes.

Weiper is now Mainz youngest Bundesliga player ever.
This guy is going to be a nightmare for Bundesliga defenses in 2-3 years. Can’t wait to see how good he will be.

Oh and we still need new CBs.

1:1 against Leipzig.

Good first half but somehow completely fell apart in the second half.
