We have signed a new CB Andreas Hanche-Olsen.

Never seen him play but we desperately needed a new CB. So he better be good.

Damn, Mathys Tel looks ready to go. That was the most convincing little cameo I've seen in a meaningless match. Showed off the touch, passing, dribbling, shooting, runs, and scary pressing. Waiting for someone to upload all his touches

Finally, we are ready to go on Friday. Don't understand why they made such a stupidly long winter break post the WC.

Kimmich and Goretzka are such whiny dudes. No wonder Germany went out in the group stage.

1:1 draw in Stuttgart.

Terrible performance. No idea how we didn’t lose.

At least we are not as bad as Bremen.

Down 5:1 in the first half

Just when you think it couldn't get worse for Fullkrug after that battering, Everton are interested in signing him.

Bundesliga at its best today. What a game between BVB and Augsburg...
Haller's return was emotional, happy to see him back.

Looking back at the bright spot from Saturdays draw:
Leandro Barreiro played his 100th professional game for Mainz, coming out of our youth department. On to the next 100.

English week.
Next up is Dortmund on Wednesday. Gonna have to be more prepared for that.

What a start for Wolfsburg in 2023. The fight for Champions League is going to be crazy this year, and hopefully the championship will be interesting as well

2022-23 German Bundesliga Discussion Thread

Played well against Dortmund but disappointing end. Had the better chances, didn’t convert and then get a goal from a corner that shouldn’t even have been a corner in the first place. Smh.

At least we have a striker now that knows how to keep possession of the ball.

Now get that damn win against Bochum on Saturday…

Great start for Gio in the new year. 2 winning goals in 2 games. Him and Bynoe-Gittens should start regularly. Not sure why Malen starts so many games

5:2 win against Bochum. Defense stimm shaky. Offense looks improved with the new signing Ajorque.

Good to get back into the win column. It’s been a while.

Next up: Cup game at home against Bayern.
