Well, that was a disappointing start to the season.

Only major signing of the offseason, Hollerbach, already injured, too.

Bayern Leverkusen have only themselves to blame.

What did the club see in Ten Hag during his time at Manchester United that would lead them to thinking he should be their next manager? Or was it simply to disregard that period of his managing career?

I guess they probably looked at his Ajax record more than his United record given that United is in chaos for several years now.

The roster is still fairly good though.
They just need to figure out how to replace Wirtz creativity.

Ten Hag sacking official according to Romano. Is this the shortest time between first and last game for a coach in Bundesliga history - if we don't count interim coaches?

Bayern will run away with the title this year.

Their roster is improved with Diaz and Tah. Getting rid of Sane also an addition by subtraction.
Everyone else who is usually in the realm of competing (Dortmund, Frankfurt, Leipzig, Leverkusen) seem to have kept their level at most (Frankfurt, Dortmund) or lost significant players (Leverkusen, Leipzig)

What do you think about Boniface to Bremen?

I somehow think it has the chance to either be a top deal or a complete disaster like Naby Keita
There is no in between where he plays a decent season haha

I definitely didn't see that coming. Was already preparing my pitchfork because it looked like we wouldn't have a single real forward. But I'm positive that this won't be another Keita disaster. At least we didn't buy him (there was no chance anyway) and I would imagine Leverkusen pays a big part of his salary still (we have no money).

All in all we have a somewhat reasonable team now and didn't lose Romano Schmid. Still think we are playing against relegation, but I'm more positive now after the team showed real heart against Leverkusen, even if Leverkusen is a **** show right now, and after we filled most of the gaps in the squad.

Boniface's injury list is worrisome of course and that the Milan transfer failed because of the medicals is a red flag. But we have to get what's available, lol.

I like Schmid as well. Good player.

The offense should be okay now but the defense looks a bit underwhelming. Personally I am not a fan of Pieper and Stark.

Rüdiger is so finished. That Slovakia goal was giving me Messi vs. Boateng vibes.

Looks like Amiri is Germanys best player by now.
We weren‘t even able to beat Northern Ireland before he was subbed on bahaha.

I am so sick and tired of watching Kimmich.
The guy is done playing in midfield in my opinion.

Former Mainz coach Kasper Hjulmand is the new Leverkusen coach.
