Best footballer in the world?

Post#1 » by Mr Swagtastic » Fri Feb 29, 2008 6:48 pm

People keep talking about Ronaldinho like he is a god or something. I think he's skilled but not the best my vote is to Samuel Eto'o the guy is amazing. Played well for his come country (Cameroon) and is better skilled. Samuel plays both ends of the pitch and is a much better defender. They are both great playmakers but I think Samuel is the much better goal scorer. I can't belive at one time Florentino P

Today, without a doubt, Christiano Ronaldo is the best player on Earth and I don't even think it is close. He is playing magnificent right now.

Ronaldinho was the best two years ago and is still a great player but he has lost a little something recently.

Eto is a great player also but I wouldn't mention his as the best in the world.

it's hard to pick these kind of things because there are many different roles and positions.

This season Ibrahimovic has been amazing.(also playing with a hole in his tendon)

I like the way this man thinks but he has been injured and hasn't been playing up to his usual standard.

On a brighter note, he did sign a new contract extension and declare that he wanted to stay at Milan for life.

Cristiano Ronaldo, Messi or Kaka, things can change within a month though. Right now its between these guys.

Defenders are underrated so someone like Ferdinand or Nesta when fit can be counted in too.

Yeah Messi is a great, has a bright future ahead of him.

Not talking about one year I mean the best skillset and the best over a 3 year span. For the record AC Milan sucks, Juve for life

Over the past 3 years, may be Henry can get into the argument but its these 3 that have been in that discussion consistently.

well, right now, RIGHT NOW, i think it could be cristiano ronaldo or totti.

kaka would ussually get my vote, but like mentioned before with his injury he hasn't been the same.

a player that is not normally mentioned is aguero. if you saw the atletico de madrid-barcelona game he won the game.

Leonel Messi would get my vote as well! I'm not a big Barca fan (or Argentina fan for that matter) but I love watching that dude.

Ronaldo,Messi are nice, but when Ronaldinho and Henry get back on track they are the best.

there is no clear-cut No.1 since zidane.

obviously if you only count this season, ronaldo takes the cake. but i still believe Kaka is the more talented of the two.

i don't think henry will ever get back to what he was 2-3 years ago, thats why arsenal finally let him go.

and ronaldinho, it's a mystery of why he's been way under his level. is he injured, fat, unmotivated?

and i think kaka at 100% is the best no matter who else is around.

I don't see a way to chose between kaka/ronaldo/messi. There isn't anything one guy does that the other doesn't.
