I hated the fact that Turkey scored in overtime. I think Switzerland clearly deserved to win the game. Hopefully Cze advance along with Por.

Another factor is that I bet that Portugal would win by 2 or more goals and that Turkey and Switzerland would tie.

Good goal by Koller.

Shame on the Turkish player who got hit with the ball in the elbow then fell in "intolerable" pain and stayed down long enough for the Czechs to see and stop play...

2-0 Czechs.

Too bad for Turkey - they were really pressuring the Czechs until the goal.

He pushed Koller to the ground. No discussion about the card, even though Koller did some kind of an acting job.

I think a solid 20% of the Turkish population had a heart attack in the last 15 minutes

That come back reminded me of the Man U VS Beyern Munich back 99... wow

What is even better is that Turkey gets weaker opponent than Portugal who won the group...

Nah, it was an clear assault, outside of the game action. It's a red card, and nothing else. Scheinsteiger got sent off for less; and even that decision isn't in doubt.

Wait... what? Turkey won the group? If Croatia wins tomorrow, finishing first and Germany comes in second, it'll be Turkey vs. Germany next round... Basti, good luck in Berlin, you'll need it.

I don't watch a lot of soccer except for World Cup (it just doesn't seem to be on television). This is the first Euro tournament I've kept up with and this was the first game I've been able to watch live. But, wow - what a game and what a second half!
